If the locked equipment is not very strong then the ship have some other feature which will definitely be strong so if this equipment is not in local players can equipe the not strong part with more strong equipment 2. If the locked equipment is very strong then the players will un equipe it and equipe it to a already stronger ship and make even more stronger To avoid this imbalance of the game dev make locked equipment😊
