Jungkook & Jhope started right at the beginning with stellar dancing perfection. They had everyone hyped right out the gate! I love Jungkook Jhope duo. They've doubled up in other performances, like Dionysus, and other stage and video performances, and they always killed it! I'm here to add the hype feed back. Bruh. SEO Taiji is a legend in Korea, it was his 25th anniversary, so he invited the guys to his concert, they where so nervous in the rehearsals because they're super fans, Yoongi was like " Hyung can I go to your home to make some music?🙈" Hahaha 💜

Seo Tae Ji was most famous in SK back then and can you believe he is about their dad’s age?! BTS call him dad and Seo Tae Ji told his fans at this concert that BTS will carry on his legacy for this generation and he was right!

@@WhatchaGot2Say This is from the Seo Taiji 25th Anniversary Time: Traveler Concert ft BTS. The opening of this concert was spectacular. BTS comes in at about 15 minutes in and do approx 8 songs like @Madam X said.

You should watched the entire concert this was from. It's at the SEOTAIJI youtube channel & the concert is Time Traveler 25, from 2017. BTS was the sole featured artist. Concert is 2.5 hours long. Seo Taiji is known to have a mix of genres, including rock, metal, hiphop, alternative rock, ballads, R&B, symphonic, EDM, synthpop/rock, acoustic. He has made a few concerts already & Time Traveler was basically one of the last ones he had created pre-pandemic. In that concert, BTS performed with Taiji in about one-third or one-fourth of the set list. But think about this... Seo Taiji is the Father of KPop & that ironically he is first & foremost a rock/metal musician, while KPop, his child, is mostly pop, R&B & hiphop. It's a long story & I won't bother you with that yet, although you can react to that video KPop History in 20 Minutes, here on RUclips, if you haven't done so yet. Also, Seo Taiji is not part of KPop himself, he was just the sole catalyst, impetus & influencer that got others to start that industry. There would be no KPop & no BTS if it had not been for Seo Taiji. That is how he is important to this Butterfly Effect. You should also watch the original "Come Back Home" by Seo Taiji in the mid 1990's, as well as the stage performance of it back then (they are in winter jackets). There is also a metal version of Come Back Home. And there is also an official MV (by Stone Music Entertainment). And finally, the point of this song was to help influence Korean kids who ran away from home, probably because of troubles at home, & to some surprise, some kids did "come back home". There are so many more things about Taiji to talk about, but I will stop here, heh.

Seo Taiji not only changed the landscape of the Korean music industry when he introduced his rapping and very particular style to it, but he was also the first one to use this platform for social critique.
Ideologically speaking, you can consider BTS as a direct descendant of Seo Taiji.
The song Come Back Home always makes me think a lot of BTS’s No More Dream.

I heard Seotaiji and Boyz in 1993/94 (when we were getting into the "world wide web" lol) and immediately was hooked. He is THE artist who introduced western hip hop, rap, r&b into the k music scene. So nostalgic to hear the songs still and love that y'all reacted!

This song is so important to me because it's the song that helped me find my way to BTS. The original song by Seo Taiji and Boys was one of my all-time favorite kpop songs and because of it I found BTS. You should check the original out in your own time. Especially its live performances.

So glad you finally did this. Seo let BTS remake this song “Comeback home”. The only live I’ve found of it is the 4th muster 2018. The quality isn’t perfect but even so I don’t know why it’s not a bigger song for them.?

Thanks guys! If you haven't seen the original from '94-'95 definitely check it out....the 'fashion' Seo Taiji and the Boys wore is so old school. They really were the first Kpop hip hoppers....but I think you can tell they were taking after hip hop in the States. I think BTS were really in their element performing with this legend...old enough to be their father :) Also loved 'Classroom Idea' from same show! ARMY grandma
you guys should react to the entire seo taiji 25th anniversary concert. its so different and unique. he switches up the genres like crazy, one sec youre crying cuz of a beautiful balled and the next your headbanging like crazy to insane rock. im impressed he was like in his late 30s during this. bts are in and our during the entire show so i think youll enjoy it, even the songs where bts rnt there.

Seo Taiji is amazing and incredible range in his music. At some point when you have time (not necessarily for a reaction) you should watch the entire concert. Which is not available on Seo Taiji's RUclips channel (although without subs.)

I also think it is a different experience to watch a concert in full - in order of performance - than to watch individual clips. Especially for this where Seo Taiji did some amazing solo performances in between his performances with BTS that are well worth watching. (Even if not something for the guys and Mika to react to on this channel.)
@@rendalay I agree. I watched the entire concert on Seo Taiji's channel first, and then I rewatched the approximately 8 performances with English subtitles when the Enjoy BTS More channel posted them. The entire concert was fabulous.

To Nico; If you don't mind me asking, how long have you been uploading videos & editing them? I'm trying to learn how to do it 'cause I want to start a channel one day & call it "GROGA", that stands for; 'Granny Yoga'. I want to make videos to promote stretching & easy yoga poses daily for older people to stay limber & strong. A big problem in the 55+ crowd is lack of muscle tone/strength causing weakness, mobility problems, accidents & premature aging.
At 61 yrs old/young nothing comes to me as easy as it used to so it's slow learning things but I love learning new things like this. We didn't have the ability to learn such detailed things at home by ourselves, back in the 1800's. when I was a young whipper snapper. Ha!
(We pretty much just read books & stared at each other and yawned... a LOT & got bored... a LOT, lol)
Anyway I just wondered how long it takes to get to the point you're at now, which, by the way, is pretty darned impressive, seems like you're learning new tricks all the time.

You would be doing yourselves a great disservice not watching the entire thing seeing how y’all are such BTS fans. There’s so much history wrapped up in it. Then take a moment to watch BTS’s live version of it. Jin will make your brain shut down for a few seconds. I felt so proud of both bands after watching the original entire event and then hearing some background info on the start of Kpop. There’s some history in these boys….before BTS. It’s quite enlightening😌🤓💜I agree with y’all on the West Coast vibes….it was refreshing to say the least 😎

The coolest intro…I’m having visions of BTS flopping on beds dancing my head…So didn’t the rappers (and I don’t know all THEIR names) tell BTS they couldn’t be rappers if they were idols ?😳well that theory was blown.
