Dr. Swamy is no doubt a good economist. But a poor politician. Theories and knowledge alone will not win votes. There are ample evidences in Indian electoral history to show that good intentions alone do not bring ballot paper victory. When MGR attempted to bring out reservation based on income criteria, Tamilnadu electorate, who adored MGR like demi God, summarily rejected him . He had to subsequently abodon that idea totally. Likewise , Mr. Swamy's ideas like scrapping income tax altogether is next to impossible in a growing economy which struggles even to reduce gas price by a rupee/litre. He should come out, which he is quite capable of, with more pragmatic advices to Modi. Modi is already seized with problems staring at public. Dr. Swamy should be seen as a solution provider rather than a problem himself.
On the matter of legalised corruption is it a recognised fact that almost all MLSs and MPs do not pay income taxes and have the privileges of free travel, dress and entertainments allowances and free lodgings. They also benefit from multiple pensions for every post they have held even though for a term or less only. We believe that they entire government machinery should be under extreme scrutiny and revamped under public knowledge. For instane in commerce when purchasing gold ornaments gold wastage is included in the bill when the fact is , there is no wastage at all in the production of gold items And yet the government does not step in in justify and regulate this practise as in many such instances. The system seems has failed the masses.

Now the main reason for slow down of economy is the linking of PAN with Aadhaar and also blocking some of the loopholes in black money. That portion of financing is lost and also the accompanying purchase power. Exactly as Swamy said, long time ago, when my business income out of export proceeds were exempted from paying income tax, ( section 80 HH I think ) the tax officer, phoned up early morning one fine morning and asked tickets to be secured for him and family To go on holiday and back !I politely told him that I do not generate black money and an only debit my account in the company and pay him. He was confused and never came back ! It was bitter enough for me.
A few years ago, Income tax department imposed a tax of Rs 1.5 lakhs saying you are foreigner, but I have an Indian passport. I made a complaint but I have not heard about it since then.

Govt increased duration of Capital Gains Tax bonds from 3 years to 5 years. With a Capital Gains Tax on immovable property of 21% or invest in the bonds with a lock in period of 5 year with a interest rate of just 5%.
It was this Subramaniam swamy who worked with soonya Gundhi and Jayalaitha to topple the BJP govenment under the leadership of Atalji for the reasons known only to him, (hope you all remember the "Tea Party" he hosted to topple the BJP government, can any one give the reason for him doing so? Dr. Swamy is no doubt a good economist. But a poor politician. Theories and knowledge alone will not win votes. There are ample evidences in Indian electoral history to show that good intentions alone do not bring ballot paper victory. When MGR attempted to bring out reservation based on income criteria, Tamilnadu electorate, who adored MGR like demi God, summarily rejected him . He had to subsequently abodon that idea totally. Likewise , Mr. Swamy's ideas like scrapping income tax altogether is next to impossible in a growing economy which struggles even to reduce gas price by a rupee/litre. He should come out, which he is quite capable of, with more pragmatic advices to Modi. Modi is already seized with problems staring at public. Dr. Swamy should be seen as a solution provider rather than a problem himself.
On the matter of legalised corruption is it a recognised fact that almost all MLSs and MPs do not pay income taxes and have the privileges of free travel, dress and entertainments allowances and free lodgings. They also benefit from multiple pensions for every post they have held even though for a term or less only. We believe that they entire government machinery should be under extreme scrutiny and revamped under public knowledge. For instane in commerce when purchasing gold ornaments gold wastage is included in the bill when the fact is , there is no wastage at all in the production of gold items And yet the government does not step in in justify and regulate this practise as in many such instances. The system seems has failed the masses.
Why isn't the Supreme courts take all these corruption cases suo motto instead unnecessarily interfering in all administrative matters especially in Corona farm laws without having any knowledge.

Govt of India, CBDT should abolish Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax or at least reduce tax rates.
Agricultural Income above Rs 1 crores should be taxed.
