But i do believe that inside the balut is a soup not a sauce(sauce is different. It's more of flavoring to any kind of food or use to add flavor on ur food).
It's not sauce! It's literally soup! I've been eating Balot(balut) since I was 6 years old and even here in the US, where I've been living for over 30 years, I still occasionally eat balot. I know what soup looks like. Sauce is added on the food to enhance it. That liquid that the lady sipped out of the egg was already in it when she broked it open. Again, it's not sauce.

@@xytheraInTheStoVewyField well sauce has thicker consistency because it’s main purpose is to add seasoning or flavor to a dish. Basically it is a concentration of ingredients. I think it's more of a soup. Sauce is generally thicker specifically meant to compliment a dish whereas soup can be a stand alone thing. Look at tomato sauce vs tomato soup for instance. The sauce is thicker and absolutely needs to go with something whereas the soup is sipped and can be eaten alone. The liquid in the balut naturally occurred and was not purposely made to go with a dish.
