    But i do believe that inside the balut is a soup not a sauce(sauce is different. It's more of flavoring to any kind of food or use to add flavor on ur food).

  • @obbie1osias467

    It's not sauce! It's literally soup! I've been eating Balot(balut) since I was 6 years old and even here in the US, where I've been living for over 30 years, I still occasionally eat balot. I know what soup looks like. Sauce is added on the food to enhance it. That liquid that the lady sipped out of the egg was already in it when she broked it open. Again, it's not sauce.

    SAUCE has a thicker consistency. Whereas a SOUP has more water content such as a broth.
    A Balut has a watery consistency that is why they call it soup.
    You should learn facts and basics 🤗❤️

    • @OscarEstiller
      @OscarEstiller 3 года назад +1

      @@xytheraInTheStoVewyField well sauce has thicker consistency because it’s main purpose is to add seasoning or flavor to a dish. Basically it is a concentration of ingredients.
      Whereas a soup is a mainly made out of water. It could be broth like or it may also take form of creamy liquid. It is placed in a bowl because as I said, it is more of in a liquid form than sauce.

    Filipino (not Tagalog) and English are both official languages of the Philippines. Filipino, the standardized form of Tagalog, is the national language and used in formal education throughout the country.
    If I'm not mistaken, some words from different dialects in the Philippines was mixed to the "Filipino Language" but the tagalog which is used by the people from Luzon is dominant.

    I think it's more of a soup. Sauce is generally thicker specifically meant to compliment a dish whereas soup can be a stand alone thing. Look at tomato sauce vs tomato soup for instance. The sauce is thicker and absolutely needs to go with something whereas the soup is sipped and can be eaten alone. The liquid in the balut naturally occurred and was not purposely made to go with a dish.

    The letter Y in Tagalog is always a consonant and never a vowel.
    Nakakapag-pabagabag = worrisome or something that makes one anxious (bagabag = worry).
    It was long thought since American times that the Philippines had only 7,107 islands but a satellite-based recount by NAMRIA, the Philippines' mapping agency, resulted in a new official count of 7,641 islands.
    Balut is an egg so it has amniotic fluid that can be considered its soup.
    Filipino is the official name for the national language that is based on the major regional language Tagalog. Tagalog itself has many provincial dialects and some sociolects used by different social classes or groups.
    The official Filipino alphabet is the 26-letter English Alphabet plus the Spanish letter Ñ/ñ and the digraph Ng/ng (sounds like the end of the word "song" or "ring").

    Koreans go to college to the Philippines to learn English and because it is cheaper. The medium of instruction in the Philippines from kindergarten to college is English. Street signs building signs names everything is English. We don’t speak English like Americans because it is not our main language. We don’t speak it everyday. Which is why sometimes even though we understand what you say We respond slowly because we have to think about how to say it. We write it better than we speak it and a lot of Filipinos are excellent English spellers.
