I have been listening to this since I was 11, (im 20 now) and I keep on thinking about the lyrics...philosophically. The lyric "you most certainly will die" seems to be about the teenage/early twenties victims that he torments, and ensnares, but 2 days ago, I came to an interesting point of view. When looking back on the past 15 years of slender culture, the trend of the icon (also the grip on peoples minds) seems to have "culturally withered away with time" thus died. So the lyric "you most certainly will die" is maybe a reference to inevitable death of cultural icons living rent free in our minds.

okay, I am getting sick of looking at Slendy songs, and things about how Silent Hill, Resident Evil, FNaF, or even Slenderman its self is better than ALL the rest, and scarrier and shit. NONE of them are scarier. Do you know why? Because they are meant to appeal to a certain audience. EX: Someone who has a fear of being followed would find Slenderman ALOT more scary than FNaF. Someone who finds sudden bursts or loud noises would find FNaf more scary. Someone with a fear of dead things would find RE more scary. Somone with a fear of the super natural...actually all of those games appeal to that. My point is, just because it doesn't scare you, doesn't mean its not scary. It merely means its not pointed towards your fears, but someone else's.
