This is magic for all romantics. Chani plays so well the moment where she falls in love with Paul. The timing of the music, the actor play and the scenery. Everything is perfect

God, Hans Zimmer is a genius. Hans Zimmer will go down as the greatest composer in cinematic history. His score is so powerful and perfect for this scene.

“Only Fremen ride worms”, for decades the Fremen only saw the outside world as another brutal enemy. Paul + Chani, proved that the outside world AND the Fremen were capable of becoming connecting, and hence, relating to one another.
Its what makes this scene so beautiful and the ending more painful imo. Chani represented unity through understanding, connection and patience. And she is inevitably abandoned.

Three people loved Paul for who he was, not who he could be: His father, mother, and Chani. By the end, his father is dead, his mother consumed by the Reverend Mother, and Chani gone back to the desert. Nothing remains.

The director, Denis, was true to book as regards casting Paul as a very troubled anti-hero in the movie. Paul, I don't think, was solely motivated by political ambition, he saw a great opportunity to rid the universe of the evil Harkonnen and the Emperor, but he paid a terrible price - a sad victory - as now he was burdened with being a leader of the universe - but at least he tasted true love with Channi. Amazing scene.

Bro I'm Italian and I love watching movies in my language cause often I can't get to understand what the actors are saying, maybe I can get it with subtitles, anyway I always watch movies in Italian. But this scene, this dialogue, it sounds so soft and so real, like they seem real people saying heart-felt words. It's good dubbed in Italian too but hearing the real voices it sounds another film. Thanks dude❤

I almost unanimously despise cinematic depictions of love, always feels forced and unnatural to me, but this scene didn’t give me a single ounce of the skin crawling cringing pretty much any other films love sequences give me. Simply spectacular.

Anyway movie Chani was so, so utterly trash.
i don’t think any of the comments are from bots. everyone is just talking about how much they liked this scene.
Movie Chani works better than Book Chani and was a much needed plot improvement. Chani essentially gets across what Frank failed to bring across in an entire book.
That's the reason he got triggered by the stupidity of his readership and wrote Dune Messiah. Chani is the explicit storytelling tool hammering away 100% of Frank's message.
Excellent choice by Villeneuve. Frank would have loved it.
He even realised later that passive boring 1960's housewife Book Chani was not great, so he kept introducing strong females over and over and over again in later books,
to compensate for his too conservative character design in Dune 1.
Book Chani is OK, but without Movie Chani the movie would have ended up like Dune...80% of viewers would not have understood the subtle themes, undertones etc. from the book. And then Villeneuve would have made the same mistake Frank made. Movie Chani is just awesome, and also really well played. It is a cute, believable romance. Chemistry is there (oh oh Tom Holland!), she is kind, nice, supportive but also smart, observant and critical with a believable adult personality.

Film Chani is amazing and convey exactly what Frank Herbert wanted. And the comments aren't from bot but from the people who loved the film and the portrayal of Chani, like the big majority of the persons who have seen it
