it's been four years. It was the first day of our senior year in High School. Physics teacher announced my groupmates names and one of them was missing out of the three. I wondered who this moron was who missed the first day of class? This dumbo did.
On the second day of class when he walked into the Physics class and sat next to me, I was about to pass out because of his strong smell. By looking at his figure, I assumed that he worked out in the morning and decided to show up in school with his sweats. Ewww. Like this for first few months I hated him the most for how annoying he was. He was so loud with his friends, he was never paying attention at the lectures, and he was always copying from me. Once he acted like he was going to give me his phone number then he gave it to someone next to me. Basically, he was one of the naughtiest students in the school. As days passed, I got used to him.
Once he was absent and I was feeling empty and kept on looking for the missing part of my life. But then I asked myself why I was looking on his seat as if I am missing him. Few classes after, I saw him with some girls and boys and I did not have a good feeling about it. Again at the end of 2016 he did not come to school for few days and I was being restless about where he was. I did not have his phone number, neither we were friends on Facebook, instagram or any other social media. Later on, I found out something about why he was absent and I was completely devastated. I did not know what to do when I was just only his classmate and nothing more than that. I waited for him days after days. Looking at the clock when it was 7:50 A.M. I was waiting for him like last few days. A minute before 8 A.M. I saw him walking into the room and sitting next to me and giving me a smile, I felt something extra special. Just having his presence brought a huge smile onto my face. I really wanted to hug him at that moment, but I stopped myself saying I am just a classmate. But that was the day, I knew I had a crush on him or maybe more than that I fell for him.
We were graduating from High School in 2017 and then I was going to move away from my home. Almost 60 miles away. When I informed him, he suggested me to reallocate to his college as I had the option to do so. So basically he asked me to transfer from my college to his until there's time. I did not even bother to discuss with my parents and on the same day I submitted the paper to transfer to his college. I thought it was the only chance to actually know him more and confess my love to him. On the last day of school, I gave him my extra points that our teacher gave me. I asked him to use it to boost his grades. It was my return gift to him for advising me to transfer to his college. On the same day, I asked him to sign my Yearbook and he refused me. He saw how upset I was and becoming red so then he said- “Hey we are going to the same college, so we will meet each other and talk like now. We will keep in touch. So whats the point of writing.” That day, I learned that besides his naughty attitudes he knows how to be gentle and win someone’s heart. Hahaha he is such a good boy.
After couple of weeks during the college freshman orientation, I met him and his friends and I waved to him and he ignored me. I thought maybe he did not notice me. After college started, I saw him in college lavender party and I said hi to him again and until I completely realize that he saw me, we had eye contact and still he passed by me on purpose. Little did I know that somehow his friends figured out that I like him and informed him about it. I was not like other girls who was into makeup and I am not that sexy like his friends and that’s what his friends kept on teasing him about. For two years he acted like we are complete strangers. Still I sent him friend request on Facebook, but he put me in his spambox. I followed him on instagram but he unfollowed me right after he followed me by mistake. I realized that I lost the friendship that was about to grow. He and I have the same classes as we are in the same department. We never talked. Over the last three years, destiny had encountered our paths so many times. Besides college, we saw each other in the train stations, random streets, hallways, trains, in random places and even in front of his house (I did not even know it was his house until I saw him walking in). Let alone talking, we looked away from each other when we saw each of us.
Being ignored by him and feeling like used by him made me realize that I should not try at all. Then I bought more girlish clothes, learned how to do makeup and always hitting the gym to be like his ideal type. I still see him in the library sitting down and feel like going to him and talk like before. But I really can't. I imagine how the things would be if we were still friends and If I confessed him before he found out from his friends. I don’t know what happened to him this semester but he keeps on staring at me and he makes sure that I notice that he is in front me of somewhere. At first my friends thought he likes me or something because of how he stares at me. My friends did not even know him but then I informed them about the story how my one sided love for him just faded away without having a proper chance.
Watching this video brought so many memories back to me and gave me hope to go back talk to him again. Sorry for the long paragraphs. I just had to let me emotions out. It gave me strength to go and try to fix what went wrong. If it goes wrong again then I can tell myself that I at least tried. There won’t be regrets anymore. Thank you RVCJ for this awesome video.
