I am an Eagle Scout, and I can confirm that as long as you did all the ACTUAL requirements, not including your leaders made up rules, you are an honorary Eagle Scout. Some people age out before they do the last step, I even got mine with 3 days to spare. So I declare that you be recognized as an honorary Eagle Scout!!!
I do not understand the US scouts in Canada we just have different types of scouts for different ages and the Cheif scout award is an optional thing you can do for high school credit

I've heard that kids actually liked the crew (including Mr. Karsh) however the producers and people up top would create fake problems and conflict such as religious or a ton of trash then make episodes around that.

when I was younger and in my first year boy scouts, we went to a summer camp in Tennessee by the Smoky Mountains and the latrine at our campsite had at least 2 wasps nests in it. I didn't poop for the entire week of summer camp and clogged the only toilet in a gas station we stopped at on the way home.

Wait, reality TV CAN have some real danger to it?! I always thought every bit of ‘Danger’ was engineered by a show’s producer.
There’s no way to eliminate all danger in reality shows like this. Eventually someone will get hurt. As a camp counselor I can confidently say that at least one kid will get hurt some how no matter who or how many people are supervising them because kids make dumb decisions or just a simple accident that no one can control. It can be as simple as someone tripping over their feet while walking.
Suing for Intelligence but I mean, a TV show should be able to eliminate as much danger as possible. Like for example, not giving kids access to bleach

I think some cool tricks that I believe a Eagle Scout should know is just how to make a fire in three different ways, basic navigation, and of course different ways to tie a rope. As someone who is an eagle scout himself you got screwed over by your scoutmaster dude, i mean like when i was going for my eagle review board, my scoutmaster wanted to be there like he had been for all the others previously since he became scoutmaster, he waked away and ignored me and only really paid attention when everyone gathered up to congratulate me on passing the board of review showing pretty clearly that he didnt give a damn about me, then he got mad when i didnt want to invite him to my ceremony. He also screwed my brother over when he tried to run for senior patrol leader and rigged the election against him

This is an actually merit badge that I did the Pulp and Paper merit badge, and one of the requirements I had to do was make my own paper, so I had to take a bunch of construction paper and tare it up, put it in a bucket of water until it was pulp, I then cut out part of a screen door we didn't use anymore and nail it to a picture frame, then put the pulp I made onto it until it settled, and then I had the paper that was completely useless, but I got the badge.
Billy Finger and Batman is a great example of that

I don't know about the rest of em but I feel like little Jimmy is the only stable child to walk out of that
Badge Idea: Hold a small wild animal (i.e. a young rabbit) while wearing appropriate protective gear (such as leather gloves to protect them from biting your hands, probably long sleeves, too) and pet them gently while carefully holding them long enough for them to become visibly calmer and less afraid. It'll be meaningful because it demonstrates being able to interact with animals in meaningful ways even when they aren't domesticated. I've done it before, it's really sweet when they start to relax and look more comfortable.

If this was EVER truly redone....Measures that would desperately need to be taken...One: The Supplies would need to be delivered to the kids by actual suppliers, a regular system of food, dairy, water, essentials, blah, blah, blah...The kids in charge of the stores would have to basically need to have the payment to buy the supplies to do so, since that would be one element needed to teach those kids about commerce and the economy and such, how things work and stuff, being in charge of keeping the store running and at the same time, give those kids dummy proof instructions on how to run said store.
Two: If the kids are cooking and cleaning, have dummy proof instructions to do that, and actual recipes for them to work off of with pictures and such kinda like how Hello Fresh or Blue Apron do today
Three: Get heaters for the freezing nights, at the very least, yes pioneer living is tough, but these are F**king children...give then SOME form of actual comfort..Hell, get some better quality mattresses and blankets, not top quality, but still better than the crap you gave them....They're there to play your games, not to be tortured!
Four: FOR GODS SAKE, HIRE PEOPLE TO EMPTY YOUR F**KING OUTHOUSES, ADULTS NOT KIDS!....AND GET MULTIPLE OUTHOUSES FROM THE DAMN START!
That's just the bare minimum I can think of, I am sure there's at least 12 major things I have missed, but this is only based off of the first episode, so cut me some slack here
