I remember when it first came out and I wanted wyn and mew to date but like WHAT THE HEELLL this is NOT how I wanted it to end up.. and also it was so unsatisfying seeing the rushed progression.. and also the fact that the male lead LITERALLY SWITCHED!? Thought it was gonna be like a true beauty moment.
I hated the ending to nice to meet you so much even though I LOVED the comic. It felt like the author complied to all the comments that were saying they like the second lead better and completely changed the course of the story
this was my favorite webtoon back in the day, but i was so disappointed. however some part of me wasnt surprised, i dont know if anyone during this time has seen the creator's instagram comments, but a lot of people in the comments were wynmew supporters over daze and mew. along with the creator's often taking hiatuses for their health. i think that might have wavered the creator's original intentions with the story.
honestly that makes sense, and it makes me feel really bad for them because they had to turn off comments for awhile bc people were upset.. im not saying they should be excused from criticism but it does make me sad to know that they most likely changed the ending to make more people happy but got way more scorn for it than they would’ve if they just stuck with what was planned :/

I honestly don't remember this webtoon much, since I only read webtoons when I've just woken up, but I thought Wyn, Daze and Mew became a trouple. I must've gaslit myself into believing that happened lol
The thing that disappointed me the most about the ending is how Daze was handled, because it's established as a character flaw that Daze gives up his own wants for the sake of other people. And at the end it feels like he lets go of his crush on Mew for the sake of his best friend.... What was the point of that character flaw if he wasn't going to overcome it?
When season 2 started and the first 1 or 2 episodes were really Wyn-centric I got suspicious that he was gonna be the ml and decided to drop the webtoon and wait till its completed and that there was confirmation on who is endgame because love triangles with unclear male leads STRESSES me tf out. I definitely know what you mean! Personally I was definitely a Wyn fan (since the beginning but at that point was rooting for their platonic relationship) and I didn’t mind that he was endgame. Sometimes due to circumstances, two people who seem perfect together (like mew and daze) may not end up together. But I definitely felt the execution was really messy and that left the ending less than satisfying. Still have so many fond memories of this WEBTOON though and the art is so yummy 😍

It's cute and complicated because there are so many characters who either have a crush on Annie(the main lead), have crushes on each other or have crushes on other people. Give it a read and it's ongoing. It's definitely not a love triangle but it's a love something with miscommunications, romance, blushing and drama! 4) Plum, it's a cute sports story about a boy by the name of Plum who travels all over the world with other friends to be the best fruit stacker in the world. It's basically Pokemon but with fruits. I believe it's completed, but don't quote me on that. 5) Senpai is an Otakanoto( Senpai is a crossdresser) which is getting an anime adaptation soon this year is a love triangle story about a boy named Makoto( I think), who loves to dress in cute things but his mother doesn't approve of it, so he dresses in cute things only in school and at home, he wears clothing his mother would approve. He has a kouhai by the name of Aoi, who has feelings for him and a childhood friend who also has feelings for him and is a rival to Aoi for Makoto's love. I believe this Webtoon is already completed and I loved every second of it. The characters actually communicate when something is wrong. Ps: How is Peach Girl going? If you want to get more peach girl drama, there is a side story for the main antagonist of the story and 10 year time skip called Peach Girl Next or As I like to call it Peach Girl Rehash in which both stories are completed. I loved the webtoon so much when I started reading. There's this trend of love triangles and author's misleading the readers, the love triangle is bad enough and to mislead the direction of the story is just such a bad setup, its like wanting your readers to be dissatisfied so bad. So glad I dropped NTMY when it felt off lmao I don't want to read a shitty ass plot. Sometimes I wonder what does the author intended to, the satisfaction of having the second male lead be endgame or its a genuine fumble on their part (should've put hints on who the true male lead is from season 1 or atleast stick with the intial script). love triangles sucks so bad I just don't get the appeal of love competitions also some recs - our secret alliance (cute fluffy romance!!) - blue (I won't say its romance but its a good read. also I'm heavily biased since this series is so dear to me) - flawless (its not really romance heavy in later seasons (i think??), also in the first season the artstyle is kinda bad but it gets better and its crazy to see how much the author improves in later seasons!! I've read until the end in the original language and its soooo good. the story is lighthearted, and in later seasons handles the trauma and relationship from different characters. I'm a big fan of the author lol she also has another completed webtoon called "arum daun" but its not translated into english yet, and its crazy good!! she tackles alot about trauma and different dynamics, jumping from questionable morals, legit rooting for the MC who is obviously the villain (justifiably so).

I'm a big fan of the author lol she also has another completed webtoon called "arum daun" but its not translated into english yet, and its crazy good!! she tackles alot about trauma and different dynamics, jumping from questionable morals, legit rooting for the MC who is obviously the villain (justifiably so).
