I have the AC001 from them and I love mine. Its quiet but from the numbers, the new 1's are about 10db quieter. Best lil compressor for doing trim work when you are inside someones home. Light as a feather as well. Now I have to figure out how to justify buying a new 1 thats quieter. Thanks for posting. You Da Man.
I can only dream of a cordless Makita 3 gal compress with a 3hp motor. That would literally be a engineering marvel. I suspect it would have to run on 6 lithium 20V batteries.
Love the 1 gal. I have a 4 gal Kobalt but also want a more portable unit for occasional trim work. Will this 1 gallon unit handle an 18 ga brad gun and possibly a 15 ? I won’t be firing a lot of nails, just around the house and shop. Thanks.
Just sold another Makita compressor. Talked the customer out of Porter Cable and Husky. Makita gets over 6 CFM at 90 psi. Therefore it’s cheaper in the long run because 1 compressor can do almost everything for a DIYer and it’s better made than PC or Husky. $349 plus $99 Husky framing nailer. Vince - ever do a TTR on the Husky framing nailer?
That was basically the purpose of coming out with the battery operated nail guns to get rid of the loud noise of the air compressor but a friend of mine has one very small like that one and it's extremely quiet and it's great for indoor work and finish work
@@pulser955 that's the same they were me I have a DeWalt finish nailer and the rest are Porter Cable are they nice about the battery that's there's no hose to drag around
@@johngaspar4425 I was thinking the same thing, but when I checked out their website I noticed that some of the smaller ones do have a roll cage. I think this would make a great TTR
Is MAC100Q, the smallest unit, capable of driving 2 1/2" finish nails through hardwood, so long as nailing pace is not intense? Can it keep up with such finish nailing when the tank is depleted so the motor must run continuously for a while? (I understand that overtaxing on a regular basis would decrease service life. Just trying to learn the limits of what it could do as a punch list tool.)
Neat , I have a 1gal husky 10 years old and it's whisper quiet , I only use it to pump tires in garage these days , compressor 🤣 so 1999 j/k like corded drill drivers
@VCG Construction now if they would just release bigger batteries or at least replace their 3 and 6 ah batteries with H.O 21700 cells, then I would be really impressed. Right now they really aren’t listening to their customers.
These compressors are very silent but they're way too heavy. They're a pain to load and offload from the truck. I just take my very noisy Porter Cable with me.

Or 3 40 volts
Would one of these work good as a duster? I do lawn service need one that’s able to blow off grass clippings before heading home

A 120 psi battery with a corded option quiet air compressor would be amazing! Run it on two or 4 batteries! Makita get on it STAT!

Good questions on the quite cordless compressor and I loved Andrew's answer
I want to learn to airbrush. Would this be good for airbrushing? Referring to the smallest compressor...
I'm interested to see how these compare to the california air tools quiete/ultra-quiet compressors
I agree

Exactly... me too. I have a slightly larger CA unit. Works great.

good video vince i hope you have more Makita STAFDA content coming
That demo unit didn’t sound very quiet, would like to see a test beside a California air unit or king Canada ultra quiet compressor.
When are these units available
Hey V.C.G I ordered the pack out twice from international tools and neither order went through ! Very sucky customer service as well !!
Anyone ever used the 3 gallon for nailing down solid wood floors?

What would a 1 gallon compressor be used for? Serious question.
Trim nailers
I have a 6 gallon and it’s pretty pathetic. Was curious what a 1 gallon would be used for.
Filling bladders in water tanks
Check out lowes’s sale on Dewalt DCF887M2 kit!! 199 a set
58 Db WOW . Thats like a refrigerator compressor
Cant wait because all my tools are blue. Now I get to throw away my rigid compressor
motor and pump looks exactly like the california air motor and pump . nothing mew here other than a paint job and brand name .
The new margarita air compressor
Kobalt makes some quiet air compressors

Those things suck too loud
