Love that you’re testing some older oversized racquets! I still take my Prince Classic Graphite 107 out from time to time and it tempts me to start playing with it again. I have it strung with a full bed of Hyper-G Soft at 56 lbs. It’s a really enjoyable hit but if I remember correctly my arm would feel worn out after a lot of serving. Enjoy the old school hitting sessions!
Great to see Henrik back! Hope you’re feeling 100% soon! This pod was almost perfect for me. Two great tennis minds together, gear talk galore from knowledge tennis nerds, but I needed some ATP and WTA talk and more personal tennis tales. The personal tennis anecdotes are my favorite for sure! I really enjoy your chats together and I am a big fan of the longer content. Thanks so much guys, keep it up!
Funny how most rackets are good enough to play at 4.0ish level, and that they actually start to become tougher to use as the pace increases. If they’re not powerful and stable enough you need to play VERY well to survive
Couldn't agree more on the wilson blade 100. It has been my racquet of choice since v7. The only downside of it is that drop shots aren't super precise. Everything else it does very well.
The 5 racquets of the line that Henrik is testing sounds like the Dunlop cx 200 series that is coming out in the first quarter of 2024 . The bag is updating as well . If you can translate japanese , Dunlop Japan explains it more fully . They are trying to make it more like the 200G and focusing on 16x19 enhancements .
@@hankthetanksweden the review on it is in Japanese , on you tube . Dunlop sports japan is primarily on the 200 series . The 400 series is closed captioned in english by advio on one channel in japanese . It is a complete redesign and they are trying to return it to a culmination of the best of the 200 series . The beam is 9 mm from the origional 10mm . The beam changes from a wedged shape to a more box shape . The head is where the mm change effects the length of the strings and wider spacing of the mains , allowing for more spin and power . An increase in stiffness from 63 to 65 and better stabilization , with added touch , feel and pocketing . Lastly the added vibro mesh in the racquet for the suppression of the higher RA's feeling , for touch and feel . The rest is cosmetic changes to "shin red " , and a blended orange with black . 4 colors is too much when you add the silver of the names . The bG is crazy too and should have gotten rid of the orange . Dunlop Europe and U.S have the images as well on their sites as well as full play on the japanese you tube channels . In the light , it is not attractive . The advertising needs black as a background and strings to look decent .
Does anyone know if Mantis is still making tennis racquets in the UK? They had their heyday from 2011-2016. I believe Jonas did a review back in 2020 on the Mantis 300 PS III racquet. I've heard the Mantis Tour 305, 295 PS III, and 285 PS II are really good sticks. These racquets are low power but control oriented.
If you weigh up those lite versions with lead to an “MP” spec, don’t you end up with something that has way less carbon than the counterpart? Wondering how this changes things
henrik 2 month ago: for me for my game blade 100 its perfect and its going to be my racquet of choice for a long time
henrik now : i sold it.
I´m not normal .. ;)

Thanks!! Me and Jonas will meet on new year and we can talk about this topics and see if we can do anything that you wish for in the future 🎉
@@hankthetankswedenSounds great, I’m looking forward to it!
Henrik, your dry sense of humor is hilarious. You say the funniest comments and keep that same stoic face. 😂
;) ;)

There is a club here in the Detroit area located on Nicholas Lidstrom Drive. He frequented the Sports Club of Novi quite often.
I like tfight iso 300. Great feel. Stable, good spin, arm friendly.
Good power ?
@@matlew yes, good power.
Which Racket is Henrik useing ?
At the moment a pro stock version of the head auxetic gravity pro with a 16/19 pattern 👌
Why keep the aero100 in the bag when aero98 is better especially for serve n one hander?

Not Dunlop! Have not got any info about it from Dunlop Sweden..
it’s another line of racquets from another brand. Video of it at tennisnerd January 5

It's the new set of Pure Strikes from Babolat. Jonas just eluded to it in a message he just sent to all his patrons.
Lovely to have Henrik back, but he really needs a better mic 🙂
Haha, yeah! We talked about that after the recording. Will look at something for sure!
Whats your racket@henkethewall
@@mteca5093 At the moment i´m "between" rackets

Any chance Henrik can detail exact mods on his Blade 100 V8?
I just added 4 pieces of lead (1,5 grams each) at 3 and 9 (like Djokovic, DelPo etc placement) and about 5 grams of silikone inside the handle.
The Radical MP is great for onehander, the Pro is for twohander. Since playing with the Pro I have been hitting 2handed backhands 😅
Lol what?
Henrik what is your racket of choice now?
frypan tefal.
Head Gravity pro Stock in 16/19 pattern. Superb frame 🎉
