Hi Paul, I'm Jim Lewis of Virginia Beach, Va. I've only been in the hobby a few years (I'm 69 years old). I learn to fly and build from John. Prior to meeting him I was a crash and burn guy. I couldn't even fly a coaxial helicopter right. I hear what you're saying and would like to share with you, that I've email him almost weekly and he has always reply back. Now I'm building my 3rd CCPM which is a TREX clone 450 that will be put in an Augusta A109 fuselage that's 780mm. Prior John got me a TREX clone 250 and I learn to fly watching his videos and always asking questions. Since then I have built a 300 size CH53 from the UK complete with navigation lights. I've watched everyone of his videos (over 11 1/2 hours) and always learned something new.
I like the informative parts of your videos. I'd like to see more assembly and technique used and less hovering. Most of your videos are hovering which is boring (sorry). Explain more things your doing for those of us just wanting to start something like your doing. I have a 5' long fiberglass Airwolf fuselage I was given. I'm looking everywhere for someone starting with a blank fuselage, selecting parts, power train etc to finish her up. It's similar to what your doing without an instruction book or even step one. Keep the videos coming and thanks for your time.
Beautiful work. Love the build. Any thoughts given to a three rotor head? Possibly a thicker cord on the two rotor system. Just a thought. Looks at the edge of the effect thrust range.

Throttle was actually only at 70% the whole time... 4 blade head will be installed!!!... thinner cords... 2 bolts per blade.
