They were not right about Wrath. First of all it gives wolf an attack speed bonus, which is crucial if you want more gold with greed. Second of all, it's lifesteal works but in another way then the usual one, so my guess it could be combined with lifesteal aura to get even more lifesteal.
Might be true but it costs too much and it's insane dead value in mid - late game. So no, they're most likely right in that you shouldn't bother and definitely just prio the other two.
Sadly tk from solal, this could be a really nice win. I think you should stay with your ideas more and for example build Krogoths. If teal can full tk your send and king, there won't be a problem with you building something a little different with your big expierience.
He got 75 gold by wave ~8ish. That doesn't even pay for a single additional raider - and if you were to go full out on them, it kinda looks like you're doing the "no push no hold special"
Answer from an old viewer who doesn't really play... Wolf needs to survive long enough, and the game must last long enough to pay for the greed itself + bonus gold. Greed pays itself for 2-3 rounds. So for me the game needs to last at least 4 more turns to even consider it. But... I'm talking here only about the cost of the greed. Melee units from lower tiers are not good later on as they clog, what is especially true for raiders with their summons. In addition, the unit doesn't seem to be good at any important level. On 10 it's a nice tank, but you can't count on their damage. 2 is fine, more will attack different bosses. 12... Unless you have only melee units, melee units don't do well on range waves. 13? Heavy armor. 14,15,16 - trash? So, 305? gold for a blood raider with 2 buffs. 5x = 1200 value, so the earliest you can get them is on 7. But if you're a holder, you want pierce/magic damage for 7,10
Because it's dead value in the mid game , doesn't hold 5 , doesn't hold 10 , if you want to overbuild with a unit you have to think about how useful you will be for your team for those moments. And the gold it gives back is far from enough to justify building more than 2.

I buffed Krogoth awhile ago. It's pretty decent now actually IMO.
Yeah I think so too, seen other people mix it too with Cyborg but still think Krogoth + Dark Mage is better than mass Cyborg.
