So fun to watch. Going on a 7 day cruise on the Firenze end of September.
I tried wahoo for the first time after my husband brought some home from a fishing trip in North Carolina. Oh. My. Word. It might be my favorite sea fish now. Granted, I didn’t have it uncooked in a ceviche, but it was amazing cooked!
we had some issues with the duck at our table as well...they gave the person who ordered the duck someone else at teh tables entree...he wasn't given anything and then about 5 min later they bring his meal again and her duck..it was exciting this was my first platinum/diamond vifp party...great seeing you at the farewell party and finally getting that picture
Your salads looked great for the last meal, Dee, and Jay, those fried tomatoes looked yummy....the sf dessert is Spumone (spoo-mow-nay) icecream, fyi, lol👍

My next cruise on Carnival is out of Long Beach and is a B2B ... thank you for sharing the process
So the key to making Jay happy is to send out his dinner at room temperature the first two nights. For the rest of the cruise, all you have to do is send out his food hot and he’ll praise it :)
Set the bar low at the beginning, and it can only get better from there!! :P
The Big Smoky Sweet BBQ Melt sounds like a great burger too. I'd get guys fries honestly, personally not a big fan of the Big Chicken fries.
This makes me want to do a back to back cruise. I will have to get in touch with Dee. Looking to go next year! ❤

On the diamond and platinum slide showing all the past ships, do they still go back to the first ships they had?? I was on the Carnival Tropicale. Platinum will be coming up for me real soon.
Oops, I tried to reply to this comment and YT had a fit, ha ha... forgive me if the answer comes through twice. They do go back to the original Mardi Gras and work their way up through every previous ship, yes!! :D ~Jay

That chicken shack place sounds and looks like shaq’s without the branding. I wonder if they have that on the Venezia too. If anyone knows let me know please.
We did not see it when we went on Venezia. They had an Asian lunch buffet in that space.
Thought it was interesting on that complementary drink card they gave you it was up to $12.50. Then when you showed the drink menu almost every single thing started at $13! Couldn’t they just give you the extra $.50?!
We have been loving the b2b service that they’re doing now. So much easier.

We’ve enjoyed it every time, yes. That gelato pie is amazing. Spoiler alert… there’s another Il Viaggio visit coming up in the last part of this series where we actually talk about it a bit more, ha ha…

Yeeeeeah, they’re a bit crazy looking. They’re supposed to be sheep, some white and some black, but I’m not entirely sure that the sock artists knew what a sheep looked like!! :P

Me, too. It’s not always this way, but most of the time I get so attached to some of them!
So how were the Italian burgers?
We put a little caption on that part since we forgot to talk about them. The flavors were really nice, but they were using some sort of cheap frozen patty when we got ours, which was not very good quality. We heard that once they ran out of the cheap things, they switched back to the "real" Guy's patties, but we didn't go back to try them again!! :P
I'm with you. I can't stand hearing Sweet Caroline . Its wright up there with WMCA.
