Why? Cousin marriages werent a problem back then and still isnt in many countries. Dont think they were blood related in this story even.
Well, this movie is based on the Victorian era where the relationship between cousins was common, it also tries to understand them, they are 2 people who are living alone on an island and they lived through puberty between them, without having an adult to guide them, the film and work shows the innocent love between 2 boys who did not know the difference between good and evil

I just looked this up and Brooke says that eventhough the material was inappropriate for a girl her age. She was unscathed,was never molested and never experienced any inappropriate behavior/relationships 🤷🏻♀️.
@@badass7640 Unfortunately you are wrong. A double was only used for a few scenes. The skinny dipping scene and the breastfeeding scene in particular. Alot of the frontal nudity was actually Brooke. She has talked about it in MANY interviews. She used a glue gun and tape to stick her hair to her tits, but it wasn't successful 💯% of the time 🤷🏻♀️.
