    Love this video...I just turned 36 and use several of the same products you use and I have seen several improvements with my skin. Guys the key is keeping up with a routine, not mixing acids in single application, using products that have no added fragrances, and using daily a broad spectrum 30+ sunblock!

    Love skincare videos. I’ve been using the clinical 1% retinol treatment from Paula’s Choice and would like to switch to something more affordable, just to see how it would work. I use and adore a lot the products from The Ordinary. I’ve never experienced ANY irritation from PC’s retinol, even in the beginning and would like to either try The Ordinary’s granactive retinoid 2% or the 5% in squalene. I’m 40 with slightly dry/dehydrated skin with a minimal t zone. Which would you prefer? I see the emulsion works well for you. I wish they made that in 5%. I also want to try the lactic acid, and Glossier’s priming moisturizer. One product that I’ve been using for about a month with great results is FAB’s facial radiance pads.
    Thanks for the helpful info🍃🌸.

    I've currently have purchased and tried the Emma Hardy, Farmacy, grain ferment and the Clinique take the day off and by far and away Clinique! It's the only one that does not burn my eyes or create that film. I wanted to try the Emma Hardy one so bad after all the reviews but I was so disappointed that it burned my eyes so bad and is soooo expensive. I'll use them all up but Clinique wins it for me by a mile!

    Try the Banila Co Clean it Zero. They just released their new and improved formula, they replaced mineral oil, BHT, and other chemical with skin friendly ingredients. I'm using purifying for my oily skin, personally I choose Banila over Heimish because the last contains coconut oil that can aggravate my easilly clogged pores skin :(
    But I love Heimish new low ph cleanser, All Clean Green Foam Ph 5.5.

    just a quick question about cleansing so I work out in the morning every morning and I want to wash my face after I work out and then I do my morning skin care routine I don’t use any make up I go to work and then at the end of the day I feel like I should wash my face before I start my nighttime skin routine but I don’t know if I have to I’m not really oil Lee or greasy I just feel like to start a fresh slate to put on nighttime skin care I should but I also feel like this is a lot of cleansing especially since I do not us make up. Should I wash before my night time routine?

    • @thehonestbeautyreview
      @thehonestbeautyreview 5 лет назад

      yes! definitely do a light cleanse again at night. Your skin is exposed to so much during the day even if it doesn't seem like it. Maybe just up the anty with moisturizing :)

      I have tried Banila co. clean it zero, Heimish balm and Clinique all balm. They are very similar, all did a good cleansing job without drying out my dry and sensitive skin. Heimish is paraben free which Clean it zero isnt. Learned that Clean it zero has recently updated their formula, hope its paraben free too. Started using Simple hydrating cleansing oil as an alternative, and testing out if Tamanu oil can really help with hyperpigmentation.

    A tad late for this but i just bought the burts bees cleansing oil. I'm not a big burts bees fan, i like a few products from the line....Thier lip products are nice So i didn't have high hopes but i was very pleasantly surprised. I have dry skin and have a pretty intense skin care regimen including a homemade LAA vit c serum, retin-A and a bunch of other acids. This oil dissolves make up on contract including my eye make up. It does NOT smell like the other burts bees facial products....which i think smells like ass!...lol...but i use it as a first cleanse. I don't need a micellar water after. I really like it. Be careful though bc when you pump it, It comes out fast and furious! They should work on the pump. Then i go in with a hydrating cleanser and my Clarisonic. I love it! I was using coconut oil, solely, as a first cleanse prior. Not anymore....it's nice to have options and burts bees cleansing oil is a good one. It does NOT lather when it comes in contact with water. It's very soothing also
