How to Remove The Stand Off an LG Flatron LCD Monitor

Recently I picked up a used LG Flatron Monitor W2442PE monitor and couldn’t figure out how to remove the base/stand for mounting. Here’s a quick tutorial how to remove it based on my own experience.
1. Unscrew the bottom part of the base
2. Pry upward where the hole is and the stand should come off
