Regarding garbage receptacles… years ago my neighbor put their garbage in my already full receptacle, it was not picked up on schedule so I removed it and placed the garbage in their driveway so as to block it. ( there was an enormous amount of it which overflowed onto the ground btw😳)I confirmed their identity by the mail with name and address included in their trash . Never happened again at least for me.😊

Your podcasts amaze me! Impressed when you do multiple cameras/angles. Appreciate your hard work. Understand why you do it ALL! If you want something done right, you've got to do it yourself! Then there's the mulitple soc media sites - who the hell can keep up?!?
I live for these two 💕. Such a blessing that moments with The Greats when together are sometimes streamed. Wish others could communicate this well or at least speak on matters that...well....matter 🤷♀️

I would see my mom about twice a year we would go out to lunch, and on the way into the restaurant she would always grab a newspaper. Really warmed my heart. I bring it up and she acts as if it’s strange that I find it strange. We don’t talk anymore.
With both Adam and Orny together, I'm surprised Big Yellow could hold the talent, intelligence, and humor. Two out of my top 5 favorites. 👍

Ahhhh, I remember those days. A pack of 86 Donruss was like 50 bucks, in 1980s money, just to get a Jose Canseco Rated Rookie card. Once I got wind of the complete sets, I said goodbye to purchasing individual packs.

Lol! I'm a chick. I mowed the lawn since 9 y/o. I cornered the market, got 5 bucks every week. My sister never learned, hires a lawn guy. (I never have been attacked by 2 airborne predators). Still mow the lawn, no payday only a well mowed lawn. Turned 60 in March, work FT and overtime (nurse. USARMY trained).
Love both of your approach to life! Camper looks cramped but a serious flashback to the times....of course, we tent camped.

Absolutely right about the work thing , my dad who just passed, taught me if I wanted something, even my older sisters old bike , he said if I collect 10$ in pop bottles I could have it … simple things like that lasted in my mind

I personally like Orny's interviews, better would be to say - his conversations with other people. Its always interesting to listen. Hi is good at satirical observation of life at his podcast. 11:15 MY BEST ACHIEVEMENT, my girls are NEVER ABSEBT,wont call in sick,Won't miss a practice.. my dad AND my husband died on November 10th, and my girls wanted to go to school 2 days later- they wanted to go to practice, the oldest wanted to go to work. They have amazing work ethic. Im an Icu RN.. I worked nights and weekends so I could be a mom during the week and make the PTA meeting sell the Girl Scout cookies and be involved. I don't know if that matters I'm not judging any mothers out there, we all do what we have to do. But the best thing we can do for our kids is teach them work ethic, and kindness

A passion for anything requires discipline (consistent practice) to study your craft whether it is acting, dance music, improv sports - you need to have discipline to practice each day which is not always so exciting - some days are boring and grueling like training in a sport.

14:20 OMG I know . If my kids wanted the Happy Meal toy collection, I'd take them once/twice to McDonald's, and we got what we got !maybe I'd buy one extra toy. I was never the mom who went on eBay & bought the collection, had them sent to the house. there is no teaching- disappointment ,satisfaction, or teaching real life situations in that kind of process. If everyone's going to get a ribbon at the end of field day then what's the point of trying to be first?!
trust the process. There is no process anymore because whatever you want to know you Google if you can't spell it you can Google it if you want to find it you go to Amazon there's no surprise anticipation everything's at your fingertips and it is making us not ' want for' or ' work for' anything.

What Adam says about incompetent women staffing mid/high-ticket retailers is beyond true. Walk into any Guitar Center or botique auto parts store and ask for x, y or z, and you can expect some "confident" female employee to direct you to exactly what you're not looking for and know _nothing_ about the products in general. Even better, same said woman is on her SM bragging to her friends about what a "girl boss" she is, showing all the men what a badass she is "fighting the patriarchy" everyday at work.

Adam has a point that homelessness is incentivized but it's an oversimplification. It's only half the problem. The other half is that the cost of living in cities like L.A. is so astronomical that a lot of people simply can't afford to live in a house & pay their bills on what they would make in jobs that don't pay enough or offer any benefits. In the last 40 years, we've all but obliterated the middle class & so now all we have is the haves & the have-nots. Not much left that's in between.

I think I commented, at least I have on other podcasts, the costs of homes in LA is a large part of the problem.
Then communicate to other places that are cheaper like other people that work in l.a do. You can move to sgv, inland empire, oc, the valley. A little bit cheaper but can be done.
My two gripes: The amount of parents I have seen glued to their phones whilst their young children are wobbling around on bicycles along busy roads makes me so nervous.
Also everyone below the age of 25 seems to have a vape, I see everywhere teens and young adults holding onto a vape next to their mouths like and huffing away like unicorn milk is oxygen. Rant over

As a construction guy anyone who does construction knows the simpson section is right next to the lumber(the poplar and other such boards) and every single home depot in Ca...that's where the ticos and the joist hanger and other such engineered straps and fasteners are. Adam's going soft. Might want to hire a contractor.

Adams kids have no drive because of Lynette. What kind of mom with no job or responsibilities other than the kids needs a night nurse? She would not even cook for the family. She did the social aspect of the wine business, but that was nothing more than going out and socializing while drinking. Listening to Adam since the beginning I saw the end, she had zero interest in Adam other than the fame. Adam should have seen that.
I love Adam; however, I wonder if his cognitive dissonance re: his kids is for entertainment, and yet...he is no different from 80% of the parents I know. And they all have the same response - "It's complicated" Not really. Financial dependence is key in child rearing. First - disable payment on ride share apps. Second - refuse to drive them anywhere. Third - offer two choices and let the choose. A - "get your license and drive the 80K luxury car I purchased for you" B - "here's and unlimited bus pass". Thoughts on the outcome?
It’s always his wife’s fault that the kids Uber and grub hub the day away. Adam talks the talk and if HE can’t get a grip on his own kids work ethic. His kids are set for life and at least the kids can do that math. The kids will both be “working” for him within the next five years.

To teach them how to go to work everyday and be responsible That is the whole point of that story not to work at McDonald's or to flip burgers how would they be responsible enough to pick up the phone and do their games everyday if they didn't have a work ethic and say I have to do my games today that kind of thing If you make $40,000 and you didn't want to do your games today you still need to pick up the phone and do your game today work ethic that's what they're talking about not how much you got or how much you make or who you are work ethic lol. You're probably one of them that's why you misunderstood what they were talking about walking uphill both ways to school like your parents did that's what they're talking about lol😂
