A lot of these more crazy 'trendy' items are so metropolitan and not really much of a look outside of bigger metro 'high-fashion' areas. I personally live in a tiny Montana town, and wearing so many of these trends is just so weird here!
I do wear capris in the summer -- high waisted ones. Most stop just below the knee. A trick with capris is to get them in the same length as your dresses.
I agree with all of these points. Most of these trends are painfully early-2000s and, like, the mall version of them. The only way capris have ever looked elegant is Audrey Hepburn in all-black in Sabrina. Mid-calf denim or khaki fabric capris (but not slim cut) can be a cute relaxed summer look.
haha but yes i just looked it up and audrey hepburn can do no wrong 🥲 so elegant & w the times. also, i can see what u mean for summer loose capris! thanks for your comment ❤️❤️
My city has about a million people (so I don’t know if that’s big or small to you) and I wear all of these clothes! I really like your style, too! I would just like to say that a lot of these styles aren’t flattering on purpose. The goal isn’t really to look “good” but to look like “me” which involves my interpretation of how to wear these items which can be hard to style.
For me capris are not meant to be ‘flattering’ in the traditional sense of elongating slimming etc but I definitely don’t think clothing always has to be flattering.
personally, i prefer discrete logos or if printed in a way that isn’t too overt, but of course this depends on your personal style & look you are going for :) also thank u for the bday wish 🥹💘
you're so pretty omg 💞
aw thank you, youre too sweet 🤍

agreed! haha, hopefully there’s other ways you can cater the trend so its more realistic/practical for you 😇❤️ thanks for the comment!
