9:58 That number is actually much higher because a lot of teens in that range prefer to set their age greater than 18, because otherwise they would have restrictions :)
I am 62 from the UK and a big fan. Started getting interested in Python last year but only found you in April this year. Awesome knowledge for a guy your age. Trying to get to grips with TensorFlow at the moment and I watch your videos to get another perspective. Cheers.
Sometimes its easy to admire the fruits of someone not knowing, how they toiled in planting and watering. Thanks Tim, You have a new subscriber who is starting to make his tutorials in PHP, JAVASCRIPT and Later Python learnt from You.
This video motivated me to start my channel in 2020, and now its my main source of income hahaha Honestly, thank you Tim for making this video cause idk where I would be if I hadn't started my channel.
Bruh you are like a talking, walking dictionary; even this video. There is no nonsense ,unnecessary info , just absolute, useful info(s). Thanks for the quality contents.Keep it up.
Thank you for sharing this insight. I am happy to see that we have similar analytics for similar type of channel. 4min average view time, 4% click through rate... The only difference is you have 1000 times more views and watch time, 2000 times more subscribers and 40 times more videos :D
thanks buddy you deserve this for sure .. you spent a lot of time teaching people . i have learned from you and i keep learning from you and many other guys ... im at about 30 years old with SE degree . i love to watch your videos ...
Probably in 2-3 years. Imagine he starts as L3 Google engineer which is about 250k salary + (20*12) 240k youtube money. Which makes 500k year. And Tim deserves all of them. Congrats to him.
This was super motivating. I've been posting videos for a little over a year and only just started getting a little bit of traction when i started posting python content. Still making $0 but who knows maybe it'll pick up in another year
am part of that 5.2% at the age of 16 and the only thing that I can say is that this channel has been the best thing that has happened to me. God bless you Tim
I have recently discovered your content, and I have to say one of the huge things I think is felt in later videos is the understanding of how to produce the content. Its clear and informative, and well laid out. I tried to look at another channels tutorials and the editing and the flow of the videos seemed off to me. So I have really enjoyed your content being a new subscriber.
As someone who is also just starting a programming youtube channel, this is super helpful. I am so glad to finally know the average duration of programming tutorials, I was worried about my videos low average duration, but I guess around 30% is normal. Tim! you are so awesome please keep the good work going on, I know this really takes a lot of effort, and I appreciate it so much
That's probably the best run down of a RUclips channel I've seen so far. I'm slowly climbing my way up. Using Sentdex and Tech With Tim as my inspiration.
Actually Tim you deserve more than this amount of subs and views. You are our cocain man. I think your voice is so appropriate for explaining and you really are good with explaining. Which makes your videos so good. And yeah i am 17 years old from the 5% of your young audience
hi I am under the range of 13-17 and I am viewer from India I like your videos and tutorials too much they are very nice . These videos and tutorials gave me a lots of knowledge thank you Keep going!!
This video reminded me that i've put wrong birthday when I've initially registered on RUclips when I was 13, so youtubers thought some old folks on pension are watching their vids, when in reality for all these years it was just me avoiding 18+ restrictions
hey i am a 13 year old and i learn programming from your videos and other youtube channels and i also have a youtube channel on which i make videos about python
Must be something in the RUclips algorithm... I don't remember actually clicking on that "Why is Python so slow?" video - but I do know that RUclips started showing it to me on my "homepage" view about a week or so again. And I am sure that once videos show up on that screen, then you are bound to get more views. But what caused that video to show up on my "feed" (and probably that of many others)?
Thanks for the insight! I've been wondering if youtube is worth putting in the effort, and realistically how much work you have to put in before getting a return on your time.
Dude way to go. I have like 400 subs lol. You have way more content than me and your videos are generally much better. Keep up the great work. Would love to see you tackle Django.
The best way to understand how much work RUclipsrs put in making videos is you to start RUclips channel and make videos on own own. Thanks buddy for sharing this... I am at 5$ per day 😀. Let's see after one year...
Tim I am in that age range! I think however, that there are that few people in this age range because a lot of kids use their family's accounts to watch RUclips e.g. their parents account.
I've been interested in learning about these kinds of analytics for all of my YT channels followed, for a while now. This is a great learning perspective video; Thanks for the upload.
Thanks a lot about the transparency Tim, it was very insightful and inspiring. To see your hard work finally working out. Congrats! btw: If you could make a video about your other revenue streams, would be awesome...
When I was trying to outsource my app development I called a couple/few companies that develop software and most of them had zero women working for their firm. A lot of them have pictures of their employees and I got to where i would only look for companies to call that had some women working for them. but usually if they had women, most did not, those that did usually only had one.
Hey Tim, how is your engagement? My videos vary in length from 10-30 minutes and I tend to get around 20% average view duration. Others seem to say 50%+ should be the goal but I feel that tutorial videos are naturally going to have more dropoff. Does this fit with your own data?
Hey Tim, I am Abhinn Vyas , 16 years old,and from india, u are my BIGGEST INSPIRATION, and that's why my youtube channel is named as * Tech With Abhinn ", I'm literally in love with ur content., I post videos for people who doesn't even know what programming is and wanna get their hands dirty, I will be like so glad, if I could contact you, and connect to you via chat or any other platforms.
I feel like viewers per age is a little bit broken because it shows the age set on Google Account, not real age. This is why everyone is over 18. If you are lower than 18, you need to handle parental control and things like this.
He got 2.5 Million views in the last 28 days, equivilant to around 7,427 (CAD) in revenue, which is USD $5526 And that works out to be $2.20 as rpm. Pretty low ngl. Probably coz a lot of his viewers are from India. And i guess, most tech savvy guys have ad blockers on :( But hey, with hard work and dedication it adds up.

So much analytics for each video of each creator, really impressive YT.... Thanks for letting us know Tim.

Hey Tim , what happened to the voting poll
About the low amount of viewers from 13 to 17 - many people under 18 choose higher ages because then they can for example watch restricted content
Because of you i learnt soo many things thanks broo❤️
I was actually quite surprised seeing Poland just behind Canada.
It's not that there are no young programmers its just that youtube blocks some videos if youre -18
Good job, keep it up!
