I don’t understand why a lot of people disagree with Goresh’s tierlists. He has every character maxed out and showcases them at full potential, alongside being a long time player with a lot of experience. Weird.
Also, I don’t understand the comment of people saying that they have different experiences playing the game. Once you hit top 1K, you are going to be facing worldwide players that are in the nearest rank to you. Majority of the time, people in the top ranks are using the best characters in the game, eg. UL SSJ2 Gohan or LF Ultimate Gohan whereas people are acting as if they’re facing completely different characters. We are playing the same game.

The DBL community turns their brain off whenever the character that works for them doesn't work well for anyone else, and the tier list reflects that
People have their own experience in PvP, many people disagree with the Goresh tierlist, it doesn't matter if you have a 14* unit or they are the oldest player
I mean experience doesn’t necessarily mean you understand the game or are that knowledgeable on it.
Many case of players in many different games being quizzed on game mechanics, characters, etc. and not knowing Jack despite them being a pro player.
Being a whale and playing the game a lot still doesn’t determine you know what you are saying.
Goresh, for example, if I remember correctly, was completely wrong about how strong pikkon and Gogeta was and didn’t change his mind until a bit later, and to this day still is a relatively useful character.

Playing the game good ≠ knowing the game

If you would look at the list chronological speaking, FGB would be much worse based on your design of the List.
S tier means, the Character is above EVERYTHING of what an A tier Character can. Which certainly isnt the case. FGB can counter Ultimate Gohan much more effective, than UUI. UUI cant finish the job against Ultimate gohan, not only do you waste your lock on him, Ultimate gohan can also self heal and go neutral after UUIs ult.
And Zakashi was also talking about Kid buu and SB2. (Both could be interchangeable with FGB?? based on your rules)
I have to say that my high starred FGB is the only reason I can even compete against all these annoying ult gohans

Ay goresh, Im not as good as a player as you but I'm still a huge enjoyer of dbl and I love your dbl breakdowns and tier list. Almost everything I've learnt pvp, team building, equipments, characters was from those videos so please don't get discouraged to make those videos please. I feel like a lot of the people who say gogeta should be higher are missing the point that this is how they will perform in average gameplay and teambuilds. In a perfect situation, gogeta seems amazing when you focus a team around him, but you won’t usually focus the team on him, and that perfect situation is a lot more rare than people think. He takes too much focus and you’d rather focus on a unit like vegito or ulthan and then have a safe third unit like UUI who doesn’t need to do much. Also, just a random little fact that a lot of people have missed is that gogeta’s green and blue cards can 99% of the time be completely countered by son family. They can either be countered by rathan’s gauge or cover changed by ulthan.

I do prefer this format over the top ten format. This way, more secondary characters can be represented rather than just the brand new shiny ones
Its clear that goresh's tier list is pretty accurate but the catch is that he is playing in high ranks with every unit maxed out and in high ranks people mostly are gonna run the same team(the top 4-5 units).And its true that ui just feels like a better one to use than goatgeta.But i still use gogeta more coz i have fun with him.

That's assuming you use the card the second your opponent uses the blast card. More often than not, they're able to cancel out of the blast card and vanish

The fact that people underrate frieza so much is crazy to me. If anything he should be in Z tier. "Oh but he can't tank" so? He was never meant to be a tank, frieza is insane because of his busted mechanic which does stupendous damage for no reason and in general just melts characters and 1v3s teams a lot of the time. Maybe it's time to show these people why he's one of the top, top units in the game goresh?
Frieza isn’t in z tier because he can’t fit on son family. Frieza on his own is easily the best unit in the game, period. Frieza can absolutely steamroll any team that doesn’t include a yellow unit, you are practically forced to give up a unit every time frieza catches you.

Heck even if there is a yellow in the match, if you catch them and use the type neutral ult he still doesn't care about them. That said I would rather face frieza everyday than gohan bums anyday, least you can play the game when fighting frieza
@@KlCHlRO that’s mostly due to the fact that frieza doesn’t play the game for you, you have to actually catch your opponents with something that YOU did. Not some AoE green card and not a main that removes vanish.

23:07 I think a main reason people (including me, lmao) have Gogeta ranked higher is that Zamasu isn't an incredibly common pick to fight against, at least in my experience in NA East. He's not a rare character to be used, but he just simply doesn't show up as much here in comparison to how you explain the JP meta. This, obviously, means Gogeta is a far more safe option to run, so people rank him higher.
Personally love these videos just cuz I tend to think I was only able to achieve godrank from watching goresh so much. I've more or less adopted his playstyle

This isn’t true, as 1. Goresh stated that he couldn’t care any less of other people opinions, this means he is doing this for the people/fans and not himself. 2. Just because someone doesn’t normally face cams doesn’t mean they can’t, he literally does face cam on his streams and summons. You would know if you actually watch Goresh videos. To add on this, why would a person make a face cam on the video they don’t normally like to do? Also can you provide an example of where Goresh thinks he’s an an,”all knowing” person?

The thing with Tier Lists from pro players not applying to lower end players is that it entirely relies on the toptier characters being difficult to use. If the character is as 'braindead' as something like Ultra Gohan then it's toptier not only for Pros but Noobs as well because he's so easy and so effective you hardly need to understand what he does to get use out of him.
A similar thing happens with Fighting Games. A lot of times the toptier characters from Pros in games like Tekken or FighterZ are ones that have a few, very reliable and powerful options you can throw out and are safe to use and that's valuable at all levels of play. As long as it doesn't require high execution, which is also valuable for Pro players because it reduces the chance of choking during a major event, it applies to lower end players as well as high.
No dbl character in the top 5 takes skill to use. People glaze their favorite character. Your explanation might be logical and true for the majority of fighting games, but it is not the case here.

6:20 I think he was refering to Red Beast as he said strike/blast and you know what cover Grn revhan has and what cover red ulthan has, btw can you explain to me why Broly is better than Gohan? I think gohan has the better kit and synergy with hybrids as you get 30% blast damage that can be stacked with other things and a lot of stuff you already know, just to point out some: Blue card generation, defensive gauges that charges with any hit of allies and heals everyone reducing subcount, transforming with full gauge removes vanish and destroys all enemy cards (very useful against ulthan), removes buffs on blue, ult and rr (not just 3 times like ulthan, infinitely)(pairs well with ulthan and cryhan due to their endurance), generates one green card when transforming too, gets given vanish for blue and after transforming
Also this format is better
Legends: "makes leader slot to give more team variety" also Legends: "makes equipment that wants multiple character from the same tag in battle effectivly killing team variety"

For me the reason why most people prefers GB over UUI its cus they have him at higer stars than the Ultra. It would make sense since Ultra rate are pretty bad so getting them at high stars is more painful than getting a LF at high stars

Unironically if people were to read out what every A tier unit and above do they'd be saying "Yeah I will take Gogeta A tier", you can't in good conscience put him in top of B, because he is too good for B tier, but the guy doesn't do enough to move out of A, but that takes reading
I think players that think that you're glazing UGF , don't use him on a proper team build or they just didn't think it was important to summon on an ultra villain banner. UGF's comeback is better than any other comback mechanic in the game and with his insane zenkai buff options you can easily defeat top meta teams as long as you know how to use him and his team well. I have him and the new fusing units at 14* and yet I prefer to use UGF powerful opp/FF team for pvp.

This one was pretty tame. My only gripe is S17 being a little too low and Gogeta should be in S. And Broly in B
I think the problem with S17 is that he kinda doesn't have any viability atm. Not to say that he isn't used, but there isn't much reason to use him. We have 3 blue characters that don't care about S17 (Broly, Buu, and Vegito). On top of that we have affects that make S17 unusable and that includes buff removal. So while it may seem like he should be higher, his usability is what is limiting him rn

I've been playing Rating Match Proud, with a full roster Son Family team. When Ultimate Gohan released, I kicked my 9* Fusing Gogeta off the team. It was between Goku/Bardock and Fusing Gogeta, and Goku/Bardock is just a superior 6th man. Gogeta isn't making the team over 6 month old units, which sucks, but it is what it is: Dragon Ball Legends.
