Thank you for your update on your forest,,, that's the true nature,,, I've already watched when you made that yesteryears,,notify me when you finish,, thank you again,, from Baguio Philippines with Love
Again, Wonderful. I usually have podcasts on in the background but with yours I make a cup of tea retire to a quiet place and wallow in the peace. Thank you 😊
WOW!! I believe you definitely captured the natural forest. You have a beautiful imagination and capture it in your creations. Thank you for sharing them.
Attila, a few things... First of all, you crack me up when you willy nily toss your cuts over your shoulder 😂. Also, the overall feel of your videos convey what bonsais are for me... A moment for relaxing, for reflexion and a chance to dive in a "non chaotic" world! This relationship you have with your creations, your trees, is what it's all about! Good work man!
Thank you so much Dominique! Much appreciate your kind words, it is an escape to me, and that is why I "decided" to give that kind of vide to my videos. Lot of people out there who can teach bonsai on a high level, i am the "sit back and relax" kind of videos fan myself, as that what is relaxes me after a long day!
I like the variety in this forest. Great video and creation - very entertaining and inspiring. Also, thank you for helping to confirm that pruning deciduous conifers in fall might cause dieback. I've been debating whether to prune my larch- I'm going to wait until spring
Thanks a lot! Yes, learned the hard way. Turns out that deciduous conifers tend to move the sap slower as conifers, so the fresh wound would not heal before winter, and will cause die back. Last 2 years did not had this issue. Prune them and wire them just the buds start to swell in spring. ;)
Believe ,me or not, that was my first thought as well, if you see i even started to paint lime sulfur on the dead tree, and wanted to leave it there, but the other cedar was just too good for replacement, but i feel you there.
@ a great start on a mixed forest, which you don’t see very often. Spending 40years in the coastal forests of British Columbia, especially in ancient forests….. where there is always a mix of live and dead or dying trees……it definitely reflects how I see my bonsai.
Awesome Attila mate that tree fitted perfectly mate👊👊👊
Absolutely stunning you truly are a wonderful artist of Bonsai such a inspiration 🫶
Thanks you for your kind words Paul!
I am happy to see I'm not the only one that shakes his pines and larch trees in fall

absolutely amazing. are you from the UK by any chance.
Thanks. From Ireland
Why not just leave the Cedar to reflect the natural older forest where some die and become habitat for woodpeckers etc?

I quite like that split trunk. It looks like lightning has tried to take out but it survived. 👍🦘🇦🇺
Indeed, now as you sayin :)
