This was a great story, loved to hear the original voices used from the filmation cartoon. This brought back a lot of great memories and made me feel like a kid again, thanks for sharing!!!
I did originally like this comment, but I wonder if that line was because the Horde were within earshot? Man-at-arms and Orko already know of course; but they don't want the Horde to know, right?
Y'know it would be more amazing, that if somebody wrote a screenplay, send it to James Eatock, have him copy the audio lines from the book, and make it a full-fledged Filmation style episode.
Thank you for uploading this. I used to have the cassette that came with the comic and the figures of Hordak and Grizzlor. I was reciting the lines from my memory as the characters were conversing and it validated my memory of this. I really appreciate this.
Bruce Timm of Batman: TAS-fame did the art for this.

This has some of the very best art in all of MOTU/PoP. Thank the Lord for rotoscoped animation!
Hordak even does his snorting shtick. Also music from Filmation show is being played.
oh my, the voices from the original cartoon. wow
I thought the same
also the same music
Who narrate this?
@@gochem3013 I think it's God.
*Reading this story in the hardcover MOTU minicomic collection*
"Man, I wish I had the original cassette!"
*Suddenly remembers RUclips is a thing*
Hahaha Just done exactly the same thing with my book too.
Me too
Same!
Haha me too!
Ditto!
This audiobook was released before the She-Ra series had begun production, so it looks like FIlmation had decided who they wanted to voice Hordak.
"I just remembered something to do." "Transform to He-Man right?" "Oh yeah, I forgot you two knew."
Symos I know right?? Lol

I never had the cassette, let alone knew that they even existed.
Masters of the Universe bloody well NEVER GETS OLD.
0:41 When either the narrator thinks Two Bad is Webstor, or the illustrator thinks Webstor is Two Bad.
Wow, they got John Erwin, and Alan Oppenheimer to do the voices, and they used Shuki Levy, and Haim Saban's music.
The voices from the original series used for this story? Awesome 😁
That and the actual soundtrack from the show makes the audiobook pretty awesome!
Love the track that plays at 2:54
I thought Man at arms already know Prince Adam was He-Man.
He does.
Only he was sworn to secrecy.
Other than Man-At-Arms, Orko, and the Sorceress, nobody knows.
@@pyramidhead8659 then whoever wrote this book and record didn't understand all of He-Man's history.
I thought the same thing
very cool-thank you for uploading!
May-Celia was here
He-Man: I HAVE THE POWER!
The master of power suction.

Sounds like Thundarr the Barbarian is narrated this.
Is that Thundarr narrating?

Is anyone else bothered by the grammatical mistakes? In a book for children, no less!
The narrator is dreadful
The art is stunning
