Really appreciate the fact that you do not want the forthcoming generations to give up their Indian roots. You’ve actually stressed the point more than thrice in your video : “iss diwali suran ki sabzi zaroor banaiyega “👍🙏

Thank you Chef for giving this traditional aspect about Suran cooked on deepavali. I never knew about it. This is how we learn about the diverse cultures and traditions of our country. At home Suran is one of our favourite vegetables and I am going to try this out. But I'll saute fry it until crisp because we don't prefer fried food. The dish you cooked looks yum and I was drooling over it. 😋. Thank you for the recipe. Happy Deepavali to you and your family and your entire team.
Ranbeerji aapki Suranki sabjee yummy bani hai aapne jo baat kahi hai ke diwalime ye sabji banani chahiye to ye diwalime hum jarur banayenge aur aapka music aapka recipe sikhaneka tarika ausum as usual thank you for sharing video
Yes suran is a compulsory in our households in diwali (कायस्थ represent ✋🏻). My mom makes it in sarso ka masala with tomatoes. We even cook it this way sometimes. Ek meri aunty suran ka chokha banati hai, uska to koi jawab nahi, aalu bhi fail hai uske samne. Waise hum bhi saal me ek baar hi khaate hai 😅 Ab meri mom sare family groups me share karengi 😃. Maza aa gaya. (PS: Humare Yaha alag hi story chalti hai... agar nahi banaya to agle janam me pati chachundar ban jayega 😝😂)
Ranveer you're food expert! The science you use in your cooking, makes you different from all.. Calcium oxalate and the process of condensation the way you define compels me to say, Ranveer, you're Jack of all trade!!!
Ranveer sir ek baat batau you are so great, pata hai kyu, aap itne bade chef hone ke baawjood you are not forgetting our tradition and culture and u cook traditional recipes for us, this shows how to down to earth and spiritual person you are,god bless you sir, for me you are living legend ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼
Love the yam cooked by my granny on Diwali. A must in Kayastha household during Diwali time. You rekindled the memories of the taste of suran with kachori
oh its yam in Kerala we prepare variety of dishes we call it chena but this recipe im going to make it now, sometimes i feel itching so i use gloves 😃😃❤ what a coincidence just took yam today morning from my garden 😍😍
We make jamikand with palak or with tamatar or with green peas.. I cut it in medium size pieces then boil them in water with little salt than fry .. take oil put heeng and jeera , put green peas, adrak hari mirch then put fried zamikand, then put salt, red chilli powder, dhaniya powder, sanuf powder and we have our own special masala called “Badiya”.. add water cook till zamikand become tender.. add little lemon.. garnish with corriander
you watch Ranveer's videos for his soothing voice and his lovely thoughts/stories. In the end you realize you didnt pay any attention to the recipe details. Then you watch it again to know them. And this happens every single time.
I like your new videos much more than the old ones. There is a more down to earth way of explaining recipes in this than your older videos. Thank you for making that change.
Thank you for keeping the tradition alive and also for mentioning kayasthas in your video. We really make it every diwali and also on Vijayadashmi for vegetarian family members. 👍👍
Thank you Ranveer... Aaj se to mai aapki fan hoon... Aap kitna sochte hain hamare culture k baare me . Ummed karti hoon ki aap aur bhi aisi traditional recipies hamare liye leker aate rahenge

Thank you Chef Ranveer, for bringing this recipe to us, I will definitely make it on Diwali. Please continue bringing traditional recipes for various occasions.
Ranveer ji, sach main aap ki recipe shuru hota hi hamara sab ka chara pa ronak nd hassi aa jati hai naturally because of your cute nd innocent smile. Kisi ko hashana easy nahi hota. Hum, jab tak ,recipe chalti hai khoob hasta hain nd detailed recipes ko enjoy karta hain nd bahut kuch sikhna ko milta hai. Aap itna bada chef hain but apko dekh kar esa feel nahi hota.you r so simple and social. Carry on. God bless you nd your family.Stay healthy nd keep smiling smiling ever.

Thank you so much to bring back the tradition, definately a must try recepie. However we Bengalies also eat it with hot rice by simply boiling it, then smash it, add salt, and paste of mustard, grated coconut and green chilli. Add little bit of raw mustard oil and mix the entire thing with smashed elephant foot. This is also very tasty.
Thanks Chef. The reason for picking this recipe to cook touched my heart. Just this year I decided to unfollow making suran and instead go an easier way and then this. Also appreciate your sincerity in pointing out that the peas are frozen..else no way we would find out.
I just cooked suran ki sabzi with other veggies, dal prantha , Bengali Mithai, And Rajma as per my husbands and my family tradition. He is Bihari and I am Punjabi :) . Happy Diwali Ranveer.
Great Ranveer... I am very happy to see that you are trying to pass on our old traditions to the new generation. Keep sharing this type of more and more recipes. 👍 👏👏
🤔Koi Mujhe batayega Assamese mein Suran Matlab? As a Muslim sometimes I feel we don't have that much culture that my fellow Hindu friends have ! Every festival has different foods and different reasons to eat them. I just love that💕❤.Edit : Suran means কচু (kosu) 😍. I love that.

Can we take a moment and appreciate how Ranveer is taking initiative to bring back Indian dishes which alot of us forgot
Suran sub khate hai marathi. ..gujarathi. .....mainly south indian .....karwari ad acche se....😆😆😆
Woh Kayastha isliye bol rahe hai kyuki that preparation is a tradition on Laxmi puja for them..I don't think he means to be a jaatiwaadi..
Calling caste as tradition and then discriminating comes so naturally that we don't even realize it. But the people who have suffered know the pain.
Just fyi i didn't mention anything about anyone's caste i was just trying to appreciate his initiative for traditional Indian recipes

My mom cooks yam with prawns..Very tasty... Actually 'Ool chingri' is a very famous dish of bengal.
In malwan we cooked yam with dried prawns (called Sukhat), onion, garlic, coconut n malwani masala .. tastes yummy..
Boiled 'Ool' preperation is also there by adding salt, mustard chilli paste with fresh raw mustard oil ❤
My favourite suran ki subji 😋😋
