You and Ash made a video just doing a simple presentation of this scent maybe a month back. It didn't seem like you guys weren't sold on this scent. But I had just ordered and couldn't wait for it since getting Bentley Absolute and Bentley Intense. This is a true gem. The sillage is awesome and last a long long time. Its a bit of both ADG profomo/essenza and DG Light Blue. I don't carry any ADG so its perfect.
maybe they had to wait until it was hyped up before they began liking it/changed their view?
Ash seemed to change his view of Dior 20202....drastically...from hating it/trashing it.. (when it was all the rage to hate Dior 2020) to liking it.....once the initial fragrance community hate died down a bit. hehe
it's funny how that works! the herd dictates what people like or hate!
I hope that isn't the case here.

I have Black Edition, and I know it's not the most popular of the Bentleys, but I really like that one. So I'm definitely planning on checking out everything else in the line, and with me living in Arizona, this one really looks appealing to me.

So last week I closed a deal on a fragrance swap with someone and I traded my 100ml tester bottle of Pure XS for a 100ml of Silverlake so I’m excited to smell it because it’s scheduled to arrive today. Most people compare it to Acqua Di Gio Essenza and I’m not sure how accurate that is but hopefully it is because Essenza was a beautiful ADG flanker🔥 a shame they discontinued it 🤦🏻♂️

It's very tempting, but the lavender note scares me a little bit.
Well, I went to put Silverlake on my must-have list, however, it's selling for like $100 a bottle!! Uuumm...NOPE!! What's going on here?? Is it discontinued, or is this due to the whole "supply chain" issue? Does anyone know about this definitively? I'm just praying that the latter is true because I am a HUGE fan of Bentley fragrances in general and I GOTTA have this one!!
You find it similar to D&G Light Blue. I find Light Blue Intense similar to ADG Profondo. So would you say Silver Lake is similar to Profondo?

This performs well for about 3hrs… After that it’s non existent… You can probably get a longer use out of by using it as a car spray or something..

Repetitive purchase for someone who already owns Profondo, Profumo, and Light Blue Intense?
I own all the ones you mentioned, just got silverlake it smells very much like essenza as max forti mentioned, so far I am loving it! It smells more natural than Armani and the oil is very thick, quality, clean and fresh aquatic so yes get it! It’s awesome:)
Others may not have those, besides, it's his channel so let him live...

I choose to earn my living with more intellectually demanding work. If I put my mind to it, however, I would be sure to forego embarrassingly cheesy animations and make an effort to correctly pronounce brand names.
I am not watching *just* to talk crap. Every now and then Mr. King here reviews fragrances that other RUclipsrs ignore, and it's always useful to get a second (or, rather, sixth or seventh) opinion on more mainstream scents, like this one.
A visual representation of the note breakdown is fine and not uncommon, but the preceding animation is just so horrible. It detracts from the value of his opinion.
Dialects, shmialects... nowhere in the world is Jaguar pronounced Jag-wyer. Thomas is probably dyslexic or has some other issues, but he just needs to do better.
I don't lack the balls to do it - I lack the need, and, frankly, time. I *know* I could do better than him.
Of course he doesn't have a day job that is more intellectually challenging than mine, it wouldn't allow doing a channel like this one on the side.
I, too, am tired of going back and forth with you, you roundly embarrassed yourself with your first post already, and clearly have no points to make, let alone win. I also tire of reading your poor English and many typos. I can see why you sympathize with Thomas.
