Yeah she was on TPIR in an episode that aired in May of 1983. She went by Kathleen Roberts, her maiden name, there and was a lot more calm on there. As mentioned, she made it all the way to the Showdown round and had a good bid that would have won most other times, but the lady she was against had a bid that ended up being around 50 or 60 dollars off the actual price and won both showcases. This episode of PYL aired about a year later, in April of 1984.

HAHAHA This is Kathy!!! Dan, I took the $750 because you have to pay TAXES on all merchandise and without CASH I didn't want to things to add up and I wouldn't have the $$$ to pay. I only took the DC trip at the end so I would WIN. If you won alot of prizes you are taxed on it all even cash!!!! GET IT
Also as we seen, that spin went plenty long enough to make more money than one could get from the stereo. I could imagine though being on the show was quite an awesome experience.
Smart move financially Kathy. You could've taken $1500+ and passed back to Clifton. I've heard you have to pay double state taxes if you aren't from California. From CA and your home state if I'm not mistaken. Living in New York, I won't ever go on a game show in CA. Even though I love, game shows.
