Vex gaining individuality hopefully leads to more unique designs, herd mentality, lack of individual creativity(within the vex) and fear of change could be good reasons to keep original or consistent enemies, I hoped but didn't expect a unique boss or something in Encore, even more so after going into that tunnel filled with spider-webs where you run from the deathwall, really wanted a spidery vex creature.
Also mentioning the Scorns 'Evolution' hopefully leads to a similar thing, I don't expect anything in Revenant aside from Fikrul, but have hope for the future.
EDIT: Revenant Baron, I like to see that.
TLDR: PLEASE give us more unique looking enemies, even if it's just re-skins.

Seems like Onslaught is effectively replacing Gambit. They're pretty similar, and Onslaught is objectively the better activity
@@redhoodie4111 But Gambit could be good. It could be great. When it first came out there were people saying that it was the future of Destiny PVP. Obviously they were wrong (bc D2 PVP has no future at all), but it shows that a lot of people really liked it and had high hopes for it.

How about let’s NOT do this armor change. That double melee “chance” sounds truly awful. I don’t mind the set bonuses, I don’t mind the change to how the stats are allocated, but going past 100 is dumb. There’s plenty of people who haven’t even reached a single 100 stat, this is ridiculous. How about Bungie just gives us what we’re asking for instead of doing whatever they want. Fire Pete Parsons and find a way to LISTEN to what your fans want.
So let me get this straight.
Having a mod system that immediately allows to use a charged ability after casting it through heavy investment into said armor was not okay according to the post Lightfall ability, exotic, and armor mod nerfs.
But now it's okay because you made a new system for it? This is brain dead.
The armor origin trait was a good way to do soft sunsetting though.
If they had kept the 1-100 stats and just reverted the ability regen and mod nerfs it would be the same system.

I really want to want to play destiny again. This looks pretty cool, and I love the franchise. Hopefully this episode gets me back in. I just don't have the motivation to play since everything happened.

I need each "region" to have different levels of difficult enemies. If I can explore anywhere, I want a sense of, "These enemies are hard in this area during open world."

Good stuff all over the only problem is having to do activities and missons on the same spaces we been playing for years. The future content does give some hope on new fresher gameplay.
It's always nice to have new faces on stream. I hope they will still be employed by Bungie when "Frontiers" actually launches.

I am quite amazed at an inability of Bungie to learn the right lessons. Witch Queen and Final Shape were by far their best received expansions out of all the recent ones. Both of these were delayed and developed for longer than the others, and both have featured very focused linear story campaign. And somehow Bungie deduced that the best way forward is to release two small expansions a year with experimental non-linear story telling (whatever that means based on that highly confusing segment of the stream). And then they present all this with overtly fake enthusiasm and wrapped up in the most overplayed corporate buzzwords and cliches. Come on guys...
I will say I am all for 2 smaller expansions if it means less dry periods and boring seasons. HOWEVER, I don't think for a second that we will get anything of the caliber of Warmind or Curse of Osiris (crap on it as you want for the story, but we got a LOT more content in it than we did even in Final Shape).
@@Lrbearclawthis season was worse than, “Curse of Osiris.” Warmind basically brought D2 back off life support. While Forsaken got us, “walking.” So to speak.
You may see this, but most of the players don't. Bungie is under extreme pressure by us to continually pump out content. Remember back in the day when we got an expansion and that was it. No drip fed seasonal content. You did it at your own pace and when you were done you were done and we were all happy with it. Now players are demanding a reason to get on every day and that's too much. They can't do it. Especially since, just like an addict, we are no longer satisfied with the same thing as usual. We want more, we want bigger, and we want faster. This new model is their attempt to address this hunger, but it will fail because they cannot keep up with our demand. They need to realize this and stop worrying about having enough content to fill every minute of our day and instead just make inspired, meaningful, and fun content.

The story of this episode was absolutely horrible. The worst thing we've gotten in years, but the content was good.
Wait about the potion system does that mean I have to use potions while dmg phase to keep up the buff like what we do in other mmos？

Two weapons that make you feel like a demigod when you use them.
First weapon concept, probably void but maybe kinetic or strand.
Heavy Exotic Anti-Boss Weapon
“Reality Bane”, “LifeBane”, “Dream of Extinction” something similar.
Continuous fire building to catastrophic end. when it hits a critical threshold it acts like a vortex sucking everything in (or create a massive strand, burst with masses of threadlings that come flying out while everything is severed and unraveled) Like building up a charge until it ruptures space time or spawns a threadling nest.
I hear people use divinity to create a crit spot (solo and duel PvP player here so I don’t have any raid gear). This is incredibly helpful but it boring AF for the user. So how about something that you lay on the trigger for and the longer you do the crazier it gets
someone on my other post about this suggested a heavy mini-gun I had originally thought a heavy trace.
Two ideas about this.
1. The mini-gun could be like the energy one in the terminator firing purple energy pulses. The heavy trace or mini-gun is hip fired as it is so beastly that when fired you are encumbered but get DR or a regenerating void shield, maybe devour but it’s intended to be a boss killer team support weapon (or banner of war that gets more powerful the longer you shoot but also taunts). As you fire continuously, a meter builds up and if you ADS you release a pulse of weakening/suppressing and disorienting energy around you without actually interrupting fire. A second bar fills up more slowly as you get continuous damage on a single target when you hit that target long enough, it creates a tear in space and time and creates a giant vortex bomb that sucks everything in.
2. You lay down fire continuously on an orange or yellow bar or boss that hits thresholds of damage. Like after 5-7 seconds it destabilizes, then weakens, then suppresses and after that it pulses out and damaging pulse waves rhythmically erupt as reality fights the point of gravity that you’re creating on the target… then BOOM! You break reality and create a vortex (mini black hole) the last blast also disorientates and damages before sucking everything in and testing it apart.
Second Heavy or special weapon concept
“BLANK’s Minions” (lore appropriate name or Opticalm323/333 if numbers are needed to avoid legal issues), “0megaNest”, “HatchlingFactory/Generator”, “Araneatic”
This is pretty obvious to me and I’m incredibly surprised that it doesn’t exist yet. A strand grenade launcher or rocket launcher or grenade launcher or special/heavy side arm/hand cannon that launches a ball of hatchlings.
1. special fires a chunky ball of clustered threadings that seek and destroy and unravel/sever that radiate from the point of impact.
2. Heavy launches a wobbling blob that blasts out a suspending burst on impact and then releases a swarm of threadings so the target is suddenly webbed and then has baby spiders attack and destroy it.
Also it’s time for void and strand support weapons.
Funniest bit is where he says he's got loads to dive into because it's reset....
Would be cool to let us chose a champ mod on any gun do the same system as gun mods would be cool

51:00 that sketch is really interesting. obviously they used a random spot in the Cosmadrome as a placeholder backdrop so that region specifically probably doesn't say much, but the fact that the roof seems to be made out of the nozzle of a space ship's rocket engine and the dais in the center along with the columns in the background have some pyramid ship technology vibes to them, so maybe a group of humans not associated with the last city who have salvaged some black legion fortifications out in some old aerospace ruins somewhere?
Perhaps it's a cult of somekind? Like a group of humans or humanoid aliens that warships old forgotten technology of different worlds.

The Revenant stuff did absolutely nothing for me, but Apollo and the metroidvania aspects sound pretty exciting. i'd be down to play that, although it all depends on how well it's executed.

What you on about, Onslaught is probably one of the best modes in Destiny 2 since the Menegrie.
Like I rather have updates to onslaught rather than Battlegrounds, or Breach both terrible activities that I’ll never remember when they are removed, as with Onslaught, they will probably keep this version as it’s expanding on Onslaught.

@@Second_Splitter literally, I said to myself, Bungie could literally focus on activities like Onslaught, The Menagerie and The Coil with regular updates with new rewards, new maps, new ways to play and even add like something the menagerie had with the focusing thing but to Onslaught.
Like imagine Destiny’s Core activities being:
Onslaught, The Menagerie, Prison of Elders and the crucible with regular updates.
And then, endgame activities like Raids, Dungeons, GMs and Trials/Comp. With reguLr updates too.
So what element is Ice Breaker gonna be?
