His father passed away and he couldn’t go to his father’s funeral because of the pandemic and go and produce a world class header to win the game that made him the only goalkeeper to score a winner in Premier League History but in my opinion has made him the greatest Liverpool goalkeeper since Bruce Grobbaler and Ray Clemence as the only goalkeeper to score in Liverpool’s history and then seeing big SAM (HE HATES LIVERPOOL) drop his pie was just something very special and his interview after the game just brought lots of tears because of what he went through and as soon as we won that game I just knew we would get Champions League Football every time I watch this goal I do have tears in my eyes because we have the Worlds best goalkeeper as we speak. Just Priceless Alisson’s header was 🎉
Barca CL game by far was the biggest comeback under Klopp. The stakes were the highest and so were the odds. Massive MASSIVE psychological strength from that Liverpool team at the time. That determination carried them through to win the final AND drive them on to a totally dominant PL title win the following season. Talk about momentum!
