I haven’t felt relaxed or calm in so long until now. Hearing those reassuring words really hit especially coming from somebody who radiates kindness like you. I really appreciate you making this video, Soya! There's so much wisdom being shared here; these are things everybody can benefit from hearing. I especially appreciate the discussion about the masks we wear and how we strive to project a certain ideal version of ourselves, but that doesn't make our on-camera selves any less genuine. It's one facet of who we want to be, and it's curated to suit the context, but there's nothing inherently wrong with that. The other side of that coin is that it's easy to forget that there's much more to people -- including online personalities and ASMR creators -- than meets the eye. Behind the masks and the armour, we're all very much the same, with similar fears and hopes and challenges. Bearing that in mind can help us be more compassionate, towards others and toward ourselves. Also, as a fellow scientist and ASMR creator, I was tickled when you said "I want to put out good science and I want to put out good vibes!" That's a motto I can wholeheartedly get behind 😄. Thank you for taking the time to make this video, for sharing your valuable thoughts and perspectives, for allowing yourself to be vulnerable, and, in doing so, reminding others that they are not alone.
