In my experience, the people who have negative things to say about Beyoncé as a vocalist have A) Never studied the science of singing B) Never experienced Bey outside of the songs that get played on the radio
I was watching something with Kelly. And she was saying that she always takes her music to Beyonce because she has an ear for it. Us singers just know a singer. She is effortless. No struggle. Her voice box is that of a songbird. She is a human instrument.

It's nice and all. Shes talented as can be but give me something to put my tennis shoes on for. I need to RUN! I know her voice has changed but it's sad to not hear her come close to anything near Dangerously In Love or BDAY. No shade! Seriously talented just missing her voice and genius notes and runs. Am I wrong?
Paul Dupuis In my opinion her music has been much more focused on giving her opportunities to emote. 2013 is when Beyoncé (FOR ME) became more than just an amazing technician. Heaven, Bigger, Rocket, All Night, Sandcastles, Freedom, & Otherside are all examples of amazing vocals but more importantly a level of emotion her prior albums lacked.
@Jamarick D I have. She sang it SO good on her Vegas concert but now her voice just doesnt give me life and it kills me because I was such a fan well still am and know damn well she can still sing like that

@@xreid66 I definitely get where you're coming from but I'd go listen to Adele for that type lol. Beyonce can do wonders with her voice and I just feel she has focused more on the production and choreography than the vocals. Man do I miss the Mamas! Lol
