The tires on these wagons are durable and can be changed if needed. As for turning it into a sled, it's designed primarily as a wagon, so it wouldn't work well for that purpose. Hope that helps!
Does the 220L one hold alot of groceries since there is no metal bar underneath in center like the bigger one. Also does the 220L do ok going down asphalt slopes like going out of a parking lot with groceries in it at a slanted angle. Basically is the center sturdy enough.
The 220L can hold a good amount of groceries, and the center is pretty sturdy even without the metal bar. It handles asphalt slopes well, but just be mindful of the load to keep it balanced. Thanks for the question!
