Hi there, Where did you buy your exhaust line ? Thanks
bought them used at a swapmeet, previous owner tought it was to loud for his stock vn 800 that he had imported from Canada...... i think it is an american manufacturer, has no name/label on it.... but it looks like MAC 2 1/4" fat stackers
The exhaust system on the bike is not homemade, i bought it used...... some polish only, painted the end caps flatblack and wrapping. I have just sold my bike, but follow the link to see the type of muffler; www.webike.no/products/23256875.html?source=webike.in picclick.co.uk/NEW-Mac-Kawasaki-95-03-VN800A-800-Vulcan-Black-203270848571.html
not sure if this fork fits on a 86 model...... dont think its the same, but maybe you can machine the fork so the spindle/bearings from the original fork fits

What year is the base VN800?Is the front fork original?
Built on a VN800 Classic year 2000, same frame from 1996-2006..... Stock front fork :)
hard tail?
Nope.... because of neck/back prolapse i kept the original rear "sving" arm :)
What kind of exhaust is this?
