Greetings from Gibraltar…again!Been doing these exercises religiously,and really noticing the difference in muscle tone,plus my balance has improved so much I’ve taken up roller skating again after 55 years,and cycling on my e bike.Anybody out there who feels like giving up..don’t!!!Thanx Cindy you are an inspiration and I’m one of those ‘gals’ who’s going to be wearing a tank top this summer😜

I thought I'd look for another weight training as a change and saw this. I think it will be my 'go to' from now on I really felt it working all sorts of muscles in my arms and legs, it also got my heart pumping. Thanks Cindy :-)

This is another one I keep coming back to again and again after your morning stretch sequence. It’s just right.
I must do this more often I seem to concentrate on the toned arm one and this has more of a strenuous side to it that challenges me , especially the one bending at the knees with the weight on my shoulders. I know it will get easier if I do it more often 🙂
I seem to have been doing the toning one more so must remember to alternate as I do like this one and it helps my legs also. I think I'm getting better at the bending the knees with the weights on my shoulders also 🙂

Getting a little better with this one and it certainly helps tone my arms. One of my favourite exercises. I may even be looking for sleeves tops in the summer, or at leas digging out the ones I've hidden 😂 🤞 Thanks Cindy

That's the toning and muscle mass sorted to today and I didn't knock my tracker off either. Think I'm getting a tad better at going down to the bent knee with the heel off the floor but not bragging yet have a way to go before I'm steady 🙂

Yes getting better I actually kept my heel off the floor all the time for the bent knee, well apart from once or maybe twice and the second side definitely wasn't as good as the first. 🙂

Love this short workout. 70 yo male walker. Walking is no problem, but my shoulders were getting so stiff that I could barely lift my right arm fully without pain. Doing this everyday, big improvement, plus I love your approach. Thank you!!

I really like your free weight workouts.....I just wish there were MORE!
Back from my daughter's, she's doing really well considering her op was only two weeks ago, her husband is home today so I'm back to my home a day early. I didn't take my weights and could only use 400 gram tins. My weights are only one kilo, I had to go down from two a good while ago, I can't remember why? but I've decided there's quite a bit of difference between the tins and my weights Cindy. My arms are definitely feeling it 😂 😂
I find this exercise is so good for my legs, upper and lower, I need to work on them more. I need to be able to walk up and down hills better:-)

Good for you using your 28oz tomatoe cans! Two things about muscle building that keeps me coming back are, muscles burn more calories than fat, and better muscle mass contributes to longer independence in our future years. So keep ti up to stay healthy and strong!
This is a great workout one of my favourites but I think I'm going to have to checkout the flabby arms one so I've not saggy arms in the summer which I really hate on me 🙂
Cindy, I absolutely love your workouts and intend to get through all of them. You are so practical and your exercises just make so much sense to me and whilst easy to follow, I certainly know I’ve had a good workout.
I’m a fan of yours from the UK, aged 67 and fairly fit and activeI, but need to lose weight. In the past I’ve exercised in the gym, Zumba, cycling, walking etc, but now, apart from walking my dog, I haven’t exercised for a few years and I feel that low impact exercise will suit me better now.
I intend to get one pair of dumbbells and wondered what weight each one should be? My thoughts are 2kg for each dumbbell, making 4 kg in total. Does this sound about right to start with ?

This is such a good exercise only nuisance was I put my tracker on to monitor my exercise and must have knocked it off when I put it in my pocket so it didn't register. Won't do that again in a hurry!

This one gets so much of my body working and also my heart pumping which is very good. I need to get the blood going round my calves and thighs much more so the veins work better and the blood flowing through them so I walk easier without pain. That's the plan anyway whether it's possible? But I'm looking forward to my toned arms anyway every cloud haha 😂 😂
I do enjoy this one and it's so good for my calves especially as well as the rest, although I puff like a train at the finish. Cindy I keep missing the name of your dog who's very well behaved. 🙂
