I’ve been binge-watching 90% of your videos (I’m saving the longest and holidays related for later) for the last 5 days - I just wanted to let you know that you’re constantly in my earbuds and I found your channel only last week 😁Although I watch minimalism videos for 10 years I’m still not bored but this is the first time I watch all the content from beginning 😁
I had to declutter people too; friends/family that always in my ear trying to give me advice that doesn’t imply to my lifestyle. I’m not into name brand stuff for example; I would buy a $10 purse to have actual $$$ instead of buying a $1000+ without any money inside. Watching your videos gives me encouragement where I lack that with people around me 24/7. Minimalist isnt a bad thing! It doesn’t take the fun out of life it just encourages you to spend differently and be more conscious of it. I’m so glad I’m moving away from family. The more distance we have the better it feels. I can’t keep up with their lifestyles. I’m very happy for them but it’s nerve wracking for me.
Sometimes you do have to distance yourself in order to get that clarity. I've definitely done that before and then reconnected once I felt more grounded in what I wanted and believed instead of what everyone else was pushing 💕
I think you’re one of my favs! I enjoy and relate to your videos so much. I’m a neat freak, but also suffer with ADD. It’s a daily struggle but your RUclips’s are my go to when I feel overwhelmed. Thanks so much!!
Hi Mia, I have recently found your channel and your content really speaks to me. I’ve been simplifying my home for about 3 years now and I love my new environment, but working on bringing my thoughts/emotions and goals into the picture is a new journey for me. Your videos really help me to look deeper as to why I do what I do and to have confidence in my decisions. Thank you! Side note, I live just outside of Portland, so we must be neighbors :).
I'm in the midst of seasonal-affective disorder (hello, northern climate.) The tips you provided today will help move me towards my goals with clear steps, and hopefully welcome spring as well.
I find the things i use daily need decluttered first and regularly. Closets Under sinks Top surfaces Kitchen drawers and cupboards When these are clear I'm much calmer.
Thank you for this great content and helpful suggestions! I always enjoy your excellent presentations. What you said makes so much sense and can make a big difference in our lives. About #1, I just wish you had also provided a few examples supporting your points, to make it less abstract, as I admit it was a bit confusing to me. I would really like to "declutter" my mind, especially in these troubled times.
Oh Lawd. “The inner machinations of my mind are an enigma.” Patrick Starr. 😅😅 And I prob need to join Overthinkers Anonymous. Lol. (Also changed up my YT moniker lol).
