I wanted to add more (as I previously commented), if you have a fear of telling your partner what you want and how you feel (even if it is different then what you both originally agreed up either through vows or talks), ask yourself; is it scarier than living a life of lies, shame, regret, and not reaching your full potential and being full of regret at the end of your life because you wasted your life not living it? That was my great fear, but I faced it regardless of the consequences because I was slowly dying a little each day because I was unhappy and miserable for five years as a result of not saying what needed saying and finding out my wife felt the same! For the love of everything that is sacred in life have the conversation, please, I beg of you, do it!
Thank you for putting information out there where there isn’t a ton of content out already, you guys help me out a lot (: My wife and I had a child young and we both decided we weren’t ready to be each other’s last partner but we don’t want to think that that means we have to get divorced or be unfaithful. We’ve been doing poly for 7 months and I don’t think we can ever go back, it’s so exciting! I can’t see it any other way.
Yes, Jackie and John, remarkably our deep-seeded fears of being shamed and judged by our significant other or spouse (or socially?) is a MAJOR hindrance in proactive, raw, open, honest communication -- and THAT doesn't even include ANY actual sexual acts/encounters with anyone else!!!!! Hahahahahaha! The exact very thing that NEEDS to take place before any decisions and actions are taken.... taken in ambiguity too!!! Fantastic stuff you guys! Thank you so much for all the positive feedback AND experience you two share to the Vanilla-world!!! You guys ROCK!!! Keep it up!
Great video. Find out for yourself: Great advise. I get people coming to me who intellectualize and study everything they find about open relationships and the one thing they haven't done is find out for themselves.
Non-Monogamous Lifestyles Association I fucking agreed. It’s the stereotype. They watched it on tv and they think that that what really happens in those clubs or venues. It’s quite the contrary. Ppl in this lifestyle are 99% respectful and Hot Hot Hot.
Dear Jackie. I received your response on my text i had sent to you regarding swinging. I respect your opinion and you offered your views on how it works for you and your husband. The question i have is did you take traditional wedding vows or did you both choose to write your own?
Dear Jackie, thank you for your response. You and your husband seem like very nice people and i don't want to pass judgement. Even though i don't agree with the swinging lifestyle, i wish you both happiness and love. 😊
That is a totally normal feeling I know I did when I was told my partner was poly and I didn’t feel safe or loved or enough and I think that comes a place when you get there together.
@Kevin Tewey your girlfriend telling you she wants to be romantically and sexually involved with someone else should leave you heartbroken, both viscerally and emotionally. You’d have to have a rather twisted mind to be apathetic about something like that.
Great video and suggestions, and if nothing else, this video could be the initial ice-breaker for someone wanting to broach the subject with their significant-other. HA! BTW: Though I am partial to blondes, I just had to say that Jackie's Hair was amazing in this video with flowing curls over her shoulder. :-) Thanks. Lynn
Is there any more information about your clubs. I am a fellow whichitonian from Wichita ks. What is the closest club to Wichita? Thanks for your videos, they help us A lot
good afternoon, i am from South Africa my partner just told me he is poly and I love him and want to continue our relationship, I just need to know how to handle my mono insecurities and jealousy, I need more advice on how to support him to leave his true self.
We’ve done it before when we were single. We started talking about it again but we are married now and she has an important career and she’s afraid it may affect her career if someone finds out and also she feels like we aren’t supposed to do that when married. She’s open to the idea but just too many second thoughts based on what society has entrained in her and I’m stuck with what else to say to let her know and feel it’s ok. Help?
Donald D you got the opposite of my girlfriend right now. We’ve been going to places and we’ve just watched or be watched. She wouldn’t let us do anything until we get married. I don’t know if anybody else want to say this, but I can’t wait to get married😂
adtc it is a little weird for ppl looking outside in, but I’m telling you, a lot of ppl go to venues just to have sex and enjoy watching others, and they’re satisfied with it, and they don’t do nothing else. As far as the wedding?, we’ve been together for 5 years.
To make a blanket statement that poly relationships don't work is inaccurate. Just like monogamous marriages/relationships, some work, some don't. Your swing comment is also inaccurate in it's generality.
Ive really been wanting to tell my wife that I want her to have a girlfriend, but I am really unsure what her reaction would be. Sometimes it seems like thats what she wants, but she always jokes that she doesnt share.
I love how they listen to each other and are letting each other talk. The way you act towards each other show how strong your relationship truly is ❤️

Most important don't do this if your primary relationship isn't solid
Absolutely!

No matter what couple's do it must always be honest or it will cause them to far apart and hate each other.
Great video.

We did write our own vows.
Dear Jackie, thank you for your response. You and your husband seem like very nice people and i don't want to pass judgement. Even though i don't agree with the swinging lifestyle, i wish you both happiness and love. 😊

Excellent and helpful video, thanks!
If my girlfriend asked me if I was interested in a Polly relationship i would be heartbroken

Really? She’d be a keeper!
Me too. And this shit is why I don't want relationships at all. People can do whatever they want as long as they leave me out of it.
Wonderful video and information 💁♀️
Hey Jackie, how can i get a hard copy of your book? Not the kindle version on Amazon.
I really want to be poly with two men and another woman 👨👩👩👨 One isn’t enough for me I’ve never felt monogamy was for me
Yes

Were Looking for that special unicorn
Jackie’s panaynay is passed around like an old hand basket?
Is the need about sex or about love? If its sex do the swing. If it’s about love break up. Poly does not work in the long run.

Why in the hell would you want to convince your partner to be poly? What the hell is wrong with you people.
Weird
