salvation doesn't have to do with names you call yourself, people who rely on what they do and not on what christ has done don't know the salvation that's in christ, people who believe christ has died for them and its him alone, his finished work, those are the one who have salvation, not all calvnists believe the same, not all pentecostals believe the same, not all methodists believe the same, not all lutherans believe the same, there's a lot of variations on what people believe within a denomination or group, most in general trust in their own works, no matter what group they associate with, very few people trust christ alone, very few people are simply believing God's promise of eternal life and believe christ and his perfect sacrafice for their salvation. it really doesn't matter what group you call them.

I'm Charismatic, but I COMPLETELY am convinced that the Free Grace Gospel of 1 Corinthians 15: 1-4 and Romans 3:23-26 is ***the Real Gospel.*** and that OSAS is truly THE REAL TRUTH. I'm still a tongue-talker because I'm not convinced that the Gifts have passed, but ***I no longer have much truck with the other Charismatics and Pentacostals in general, because I'm convinced that the New Apostolic "Reformation" and other Charismaniacs have RUINED the reputation of the Gifts.*** My point: it's not the title, it's the HEART that receives or rejects the Gospel. I accepted 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Romans 3:23-26, and the entirety of John Chapter 10. I know I'm saved forever, hallelujah! @@birdtopaz5627 the list of gifts that were in the church are not the same as the apostolic list . God gave sign gifts to the Apostles some of which they only could pass on 2 Cor.12 :12 . In Eph. 4 .v 11. he gave some Apostles, some prophets,some evangelists , some pastors .and teachers . In Heb. 1:1 we find prophecy is in the past now he speaks through his son . How ? through the message he gave his Apostles .When John finished his writing, God's message to the church was complete.

But they preached from the pulpit that it was a SIN not to tithe. So since I wrote this post I went through, in context, all the passages that they use as proof texts. And I studied other N.T. Passages about giving. Just a side note, I have been Praying for wisdom for 6 months. I found that tithing, giving a tenth of your gross income, #1 is not even in the entire bible!!!! My concern was whether tithing was commanded or required of us, Christians. Because that is the only way it Could be a sin if you don't do it. But there is no command for us. #2. The times I found it commanded in the O.T. it was tied to temple sacrifice and was given to the Levites, because they had no land . And because of that, they couldn't grow these things for them selves... Which were cumin, spices, mint, herds.etc The tithes that were commanded were so the Levites could eat the meat that was their portion from the animal offerings. And I can imagine it was used as a preservative as well. #3. So since The O.T. law was fulfilled in Jesus when He died on the cross, we are actually sinning if we teach this, and or feel compelled to do it. Yes, we give...but how each man purposefully decides in his own heart.

Where people get confused is the freewill issue. Yes you're saved. But you have a _freewill_ to chose right or wrong.

Is it legalistic to make your congregation tithe? Or tell them if they don't tithe they are rebelling, sinning, against God?
If you are being forced to tithe, yes. God loves a cheerful giver. If your gift is not from the heart God will have no respect for it.

No.... Lordship salvation teaches you must do good works. If there are no good works it's evidence to lordshippers your not saved
They want to do good works to earn salvation.
Romans 4 says otherwise.
