The decision to forgive can take a second but it's a process. Healing.Especially if the pain is deep. I wanted to forgive my ex. I believe he's a narc. I was devastated by the break up. He was talking marriage! It took me about a year and a half to forgive. I just couldn't speed it up though I wanted to forgive.
