This was a great explanation to help me understand PPROM vs. PROM for nursing school! Thank you! In my book though it mentions tocolytic medicine to help prolong PPROM not antibiotics. It mentions antibiotics just to treat PPROM for infections.
thank you for this amazing lectures, they are soo helfpull. I hope you can also make someday a lecture about preterm labor. But again thank you for this great work that you have done already! :)
Great information however I feel like you should mention the woman's choices and consent for these procedures, especially when you are talking about PPROM after 35 weeks. She should get to choose whether she would like to wait and see if labor begins or if she would like to be induced. Several times you mentioned "I would ..." but didn't teach that it is still the woman's decision to make.
Thank you for this lecture. Please can you explain further what expectant management means? Or what exactly goes into expectant management? Thank you once again @Paul Bolin M.D
Hi excellent lecture as always! Can someone please confirm if a vesicovaginal fistula can also cause pooling of fluid in the vagina..more correctly in the vaginal vault and this pose as a ddx for amniotic fluid?
I recently had PPROM and im glad to see that the Dr did exactly what you are saying in this video.
This was just enough detail easy to follow and understand. Thank you!
Thank you so much Dr. Bolin for all the high yield OBGYN lectures!
