@@MusicSpounge He really does think the answers, that's why he's struggling with English. When you're not going to choose standard sentences in English (a language that you guess everybody around you masters better than you) you're going to have hard times talking. He keeps thinking first in italian, and translating into English means go simplifying a very richer way to express yourself. He tries to fill the lack in fluency giving an international accent, which is embarassing to me honestly, but I can relate to him.
This is his force: he's a simple man. He's so true in everything he does or says. This is why fans love him. I have followed him since his first exhibition in X Factor. He's grown a lot. He' our King. This interview is completely honest. He improved his English a lot, he's the one who wants to do things in a better way. He expressed himself so well. 100% himself. You can believe it.
I discovered him at Eurovision 2013 and since then I haven't stopped listening to him. I love that he's back after so many years

Marco Mengoni has been one of the intriguing surprises of this Eurovision season. Beneath the polished exterior is a performer who comes across as sweet, shy, thoughtful, and even a little bit awkward (speaking in a foreign language might have something to do with that). William once again proved himself to be a capable interviewer who often has great chemistry with his subjects.
No, no, I can guarantee you he is always awkward in interviews, even when they are in Italian. Like he just smoked weed or something 😂

At least I want to say that I agree with some the comments here, for all Eurovision, we saw how much was difficult for Marco be honest with journalists, "discovered himself" with them, because show your fragilities it's hard ( this song in particular, is so personal, concerned about him) and he, during the interviews would do with thousands of person that probably will judge him through the window of their pc, so I think that block him for many of these interviews, for fear. But at least he said so much about himself with William (that we know also thanks to this interview that he has talent for journalism and be so empathetic, you are precious❤️) wasn't easy or simple interview. Was two people talking about the fear, the fragilities and the pain of one of them, and many of us share with him the same feelings and fear, me also. So thank you William❤️❤️, was amazing interview, a big opportunity for remember me that music speak about us, our struggles, fear, fragilities without blame us, but giving to all people, good examples of love for ourselves and courage. Thanks Marco for discovered a little part of you with us, I'm proud of you, you were brave❤️❤️❤️

And know I understand why in some interviews people or journalists said "Marco you are so beautiful, handsome etcetera.." and he simply, ignore these words and try to change argument and make jokes about "I'm ten years more old, I'm alive" like he is not love himself... I've been his fan for a while now. What I like about him is that he's sensitive (as he himself said) and gets emotional when he performs onstage. I was listening to his album 'Parole in circolo' during some rough times in my life and it somehow helped me through.

i liked this interview, it really seemed that William was really interested in the answers. good, profound and straightforward talk. he should have won, in the last two months i listened to his song at least 100 times :)
I didn't like Due Vite at first because it just felt like an ordinary ballad, but it has grown on me exponentially.
The entire performance at the final felt so sincere and genuine. At the end where he got emotional and got on his knees, it finally clicked. I felt a strong connection to the song and his voice.
Congratulations on achieving such a respectable result!

With his looks and success i can't believe he is not in his best psychologically. He is kind of sleeping through his best,come on
If you closely look at how he interacts with others you can see he's mentally struggling. He doesn't seem to be too comfortable. He's smiling away the unpleasant situations. But i can totally relate to that. And he is an amazing talented artist.
That s why I don t find his presence calming like William says. I find myself in Marco and I think he just masks what he feels but with the help of the psychologist he tries to be more sincere. He should find the right words to say what he feels to the people
