szn inc. nah Jamal Crawford handles looks better better Than kyrie Jamal handles smooth as hell kyrie handles handles more like attacking to the basketball but in terms of ball handling dribbling the ball Jamal Crawford is better his handle is Natural
Shake and bake is a great move. I've noticed Carmelo sort of does that move too, but usually with a dribble in the front instead of behind the back. It's a great move because you freeze the defender for a second and can do some counters off of it. The one Crawford does on Kirk Hinrich is sick... tryin to find it...
his nature doesnt seem to match his game. I've grown up just expecting scorers like that to be cocky as anything, but this dude seems real down to earth.
One thing he didn't mention maybe because it is so routine for him - is he put his eyes on the rim when he does his hang dribble, which often makes the defender rush towards him to contest his shot. Then he just easily blows by him. Look at the 3:26 mark. For a tiny fraction of a second, Crawford looks up at the rim and the defender run out. Crawford reads that. Crawford uses the hang dribble not just as a hesitation move but it gives him a tiny window of opportunity to read the defender's reaction. If the defender did not run out, I believe Crawford would have shot instead of drive.
Of course he created the shake n bake move...not the actual name, the move! Super great move to have in your arsenal as a player. Props to j crossover having people on skates on the court
I think he is so good because of the long strides and long arms.... he can whip the ball across with the long arms and he also dribbles a lot higher which throws the defender off
I remember he had the ball, and the hawks called a time out. So Crawford start dribbling behind his back while kicking his legs back. Witch is some What easy but the speed was crazy
since this year whenever i play i first did the behind my back crossover by accident just by playing by my self on the court and since then its my main move but i never knew more people did it, i just thought i was a boy just dribbling the ball and just by chance it went behind my back and just made some other moves to make it a crossover and im only 13
That look the girl got at the beginning thinking about "that move can even be a bit dangerous." Something tells me she's thinking about a different move than we are ;)
Part of being a good ball handler is being able to "cheat" with exceptions. That hang dribble is obviously a carry, but he presents it in a way it looks legal.
best ballhandler in the league
Kyrie?
szn inc. nah Jamal Crawford handles looks better better Than kyrie Jamal handles smooth as hell kyrie handles handles more like attacking to the basketball but in terms of ball handling dribbling the ball Jamal Crawford is better his handle is
Natural
old dude getting crossed at the end "oh shit "best part

Crawford's shake and bake is one of the best moves ever.
He speaks much more intelligently than a lot of other players, crazy handles too
Jamal Crawford is the most under rated NBA star. Hes damn talented man
Learned some new moves, and tweaks for my own crossovers. Jamal's hesitation move is on point!
his nature doesnt seem to match his game. I've grown up just expecting scorers like that to be cocky as anything, but this dude seems real down to earth.
the smoothest handles ive ever seen

one of my favorite player
his crossover move is not just a move, its an art
"through the legs..." - *goes behind back*...
Jamal Crawford is the purest ballet I've ever seen. Ballet and best player are 2 completely different things btw.
dj practicing his free throws in the background :D
i met him in real life when he was on the knicks, hes a real nice guy.
2:22 Kirk Hinrich: "Man, I hate this move!"
D.Will: "Me too..."
Aww "Best friend in the world"
Amazing voice btw
he's a chill dude
Of course he created the shake n bake move...not the actual name, the move! Super great move to have in your arsenal as a player. Props to j crossover having people on skates on the court
Jamal Crawford is winning the 6th man of the year award for sure this season!!!
I know right, pleasantly surprised!
I think he is so good because of the long strides and long arms.... he can whip the ball across with the long arms and he also dribbles a lot higher which throws the defender off
hang dribble is not carry?
The reporter
MAN , even when he's doin the example im shook !
I love this guy
Just like my... heart. My heart.
dude seems mad normal and down to earth
jamal has the sickest crossover in the league
Well-spoken guy. Seems humble as shit, too.
nba's probably most underrated player
it is sometimes, depends on how long you carry, most players get away with it, but every once in awhile i see someone gets called on it
Jamals 33 years old. He invented it when he was 16. You would have been 6 years old when he invented it. So he was probably doing it before u saw it.
his dribble is so crisp
Bout to add to my Arsenal!!! Already got the "shake&bake" down pat...
The shake n' bake is deadly, nuff said!
love is in the air
KING
he seems like a really nice guy
The Hang dribble = The Carry dribble that the ref will call everytime lol.
The first couple of crossovers in the video were blatant carries, but what he does ingame is more legit and pretty sweet
Jamal Crawford is so underrated , should have made the all star team over Tim Duncan, Jamal hope you make it to the finals and win a ring
His personality is underrated.
Hes a beast
I remember he had the ball, and the hawks called a time out. So Crawford start dribbling behind his back while kicking his legs back. Witch is some What easy but the speed was crazy
DJ practicing FTs in the background. That's nice to see.
that was bloody sick
Pressed like on this before I even watched it.
since this year whenever i play i first did the behind my back crossover by accident just by playing by my self on the court and since then its my main move but i never knew more people did it, i just thought i was a boy just dribbling the ball and just by chance it went behind my back and just made some other moves to make it a crossover and im only 13
mans chill af
He's probably one of the more eloquent NBA players.
He's slowing it down for you to understand the move. When he does it full speed, it isn't a carry. His palm isn't underneath the ball.
I want Chris Paul to add the Jamal Crawford dribble behind the back, and Jamal to add the CP3 dribble thru the legs
Tip, don't even think about stealing the ball, that would be bad, just don't let him pass.
And raise your hand and try to block.
Hes gonna be the weapon to beat the heat if they get to the finals...
you must be a very nice person , with a lot of friends.
He's probably the only player that doesn't say "you know" during his speech
2:06 DeAndre Jordan is trying to learn how to shoot free throws haha
All-star in my mind
...I've heard when you live in Seattle, there's nothing to do but stay inside basketball gyms...Only Iverson can touch his handles.
It does rain a lot lol true
Sometimes i think he tends to carry the ball, but anyway his dribble is sick.
Underrated u.u
Crazy dope crozover
Who the fuck would dislike Jamal Crawford?!
man this dude be carrying in game look at the film i dont have to lie
yep!
I never thought that his voice was this deep lol
the "hang dribble" is more commonly known as "carrying."
Damn right!
under rated also
How can he score 50 and they don't want him in the league no more?
Ending was hilarious! Haha :D
That look the girl got at the beginning thinking about "that move can even be a bit dangerous." Something tells me she's thinking about a different move than we are ;)
The secret is out! Save yourself! SAVE YOURSELFFF!!!
expert!!!
insightful...
He did a Shake and Bake Crossover in one of Chris Smoove's videos. That was funny.
i like this video all the great ball handlers are freeflowing
Sounds like a robot: Jamal has a few crossover moves
shake n bake
essentially yes but refs in the nba rarely call it especially on star players
Part of being a good ball handler is being able to "cheat" with exceptions. That hang dribble is obviously a carry, but he presents it in a way it looks legal.
I want to do Shake and Bake so much!
but he is very well spoken and seems intelligent enough
he proved you wrong!
wtf I expected him to sound like he came strait from Nigeria
I love the advice, but the hang dribble won't work in my highschool league because the refs are crazy and they'd call it a carry :(
Thank god, i thought i was the only one. Like i don't know what it is but here reporting makes me die a little inside.
it was. hand was under the ball and rested in his hands.
🔥🔥
Two People had their ankles sprained
Hes is so deadly
Jamal Crawford literally broke 3 people's ankles
Is the hang dribble a carry??
Old man" Okay thats It Im done"
I don't know but so far his the only one I seen do it in the (NBA)
The hang is just a hesitation crossover
dope
all star
