I think MLS would actually do really well in Tulsa. The average MLS stadium holds only about 20,000. There were more at this game and Skelly Stadium was only 2/3 full.
Does anyone know the date Pele played at Skelly stadium in Tulsa Oklahoma ? It was either 1979 or 1980. I was a teenager at the time and remember Pele being there. I'm 57 now and living in Philadelphia PA. At the time I was staying in a shelter for runaway teens. They took us to the game. I seem to remember being 15 at the time, which would make the game in 1980. RIP Pele ! 🕊️🙏💟
Thank you for letting me relive a piece of my child hood.
I was there too.
Jim Karvellas a broadcasting legend calling the game. He knew how to call a soccer game at that time. #NYCosmos

You don’t want the MLS. Until the corruption of USSF and MLS is over and promotion/relegation is installed, Soccer is a wasteland.
@@JasonFeinman that didn't age well, mls is booming,
Thank you
Alan Woodward! Brilliant 🙂
I was there and every home game.

I do. Will take some time to upload
