Thank you, Jake, for uploading this wonderful documentary of the Sefardic Selihot service. Viewers should make special note of the Ladino recitations.
    A treasure, indeed.

RUclips muted the video because of "copyright" infringement on two of the piyutim: ANENU & ADON ASELIHOT. I have submitted a dispute that piyutim or prayers cannot be copyrighted as they are in the public domain. I have not received a reply/resolution.

If you look on the right, you'll see other videos posted with titles such as "Sephardic Selichot", and one that is titled ANENU (SELIJOT). Please explain RUclips?!

The name is “Mahazike Tora”. It was built in honor of Rabbi Nissim Behar. It’s located in Bat-Yam, Israel, where most of the Jews from Turkey originally settled when they made Aliya after 1948.

@@jakek1 I grew up in Seattle, Wa. We have two Turkish synagogues. Ezra Bessaroth whos founders were from Rhodes. And Sephardic Bikur Holim who's members were from Istanbul, tekirdag and Brusa. Im very familiar with the selihot tunes of both kehillot.
The tunes in this video resemble both traditions but more along the lines of Sephardic Bikur Holim. Tizke lemisvoth

Rifat Sonsino The synagogue is dedicated to Nissim Behar and was established by Turkish Immigrants from Istanbul and Izmir, including the man blowing the shofar, who is my cousin. The gentleman towards the end of the video in the black suit and hat is Rabbi Eliyahu Kohen from the Istanbul Mahazike Tora.
