Very impressive and informative and thanks for all the tips and advice about how to adjust the seats. Smart to add the disclaimers about the top seat (I am like you and figured it’s obvious not to leave a child in it without added weight at the bottom but you never know what people will assume)
Just ordered this again. Going to do this for my collection as well. Thank you for the inspiration! I’m going to do it. Found a city select for $20. So going to make it as a triple for the babies (my reborns) thank you.
@@ShellBellsChannel yep I have shifted the brackets and ordering my third seat tomorrow 🤗🤗 can’t wait for my next reborn meet up to show it to my group!!
Hi Shell , is there only one type of extra seat to buy or do you only buy the top seat . Also what year of the pram is needed to do this covertion, what year pram are you using please . Great idea .
Hey, so for mine I actually used a Versa seat (it goes on the front of the triple) and it gave more room because of where the brackets are. its also handy to have the versa if you need to use a single pram every now and then! (it is easier to just buy the whole versa as a pram.) If you decide to just buy a seat on its own any city select seat will do. I believe this is about 2015/2016 year model You can do it with any of the city selects that have the 3 seat brackets in place ( 2 on the frame And the 3rd set are on the 2nd seat adapters) The newer models (Lux are great as you can put 2 car seats on the top brackets!) and a seat on the front. So the lux will have more room between the seats. I'm pretty sure all the info is in this video maybe rewatch it for all my little tips :)
I just watched a video on the difference between the 2 and the Lux version got ride of the lower middle seat placement but does have a higher extension for the handle bars... also, the hand break is now moved to the top of the handle not the side, so even though you cant use the lower middle bracket, you may be able to place the top seat bracket up higher. Good luck!
I also just realized that the reason it only works with the regular City Select is that since it has 2 seat placements it has 2 sets of brackets. You remove one of these and use it for the top seat and since the Lux doesn't have the extra bracket you would need to buy one somehow or take one off of a different frame.
I have the city select purchased brand new in 2019. I don’t have another third seat to try but could you use 3 seats on the already 3 slots without drilling any new holes and just use an extender for first seat to give more room between 1st and 2nd?
How much leg space does the bottom seat have. And if you took the middle seat out and put a bassinette up the top would that work? As my grandson has no space when the bassinette is on
Yes, there was a craze a little while ago where lots of people were moving the brackets up so that the 2 seats have more room. It helps with the combinations :)
So it’s the lux that will do two car seats? I’m doing this for twin babies and a one year old. I see others have for reborns. So do you think it would work ok for my situation?
Yes you can fit 1 capsule and 2 seats- if you watch the whole video I’m pretty sure I explain that- or At least it is in the combinations video about what combinations you can have with this pram
Hi! Did you use the hood clamps and lines from bugaboo or from your own stroller? Thinking of using this on the joolvy qool. Do you think that will fit ? 🤔
What size bolts do you need to fix the mounts to the high part of the handle bar. This is not viable on the Lux because of the brake cables. I have 4 spare mounts from dismantling a city select for parts so am going to fix these mounts to another city select.
You change it around for if you want to lie down or sit them up, It goes under the bar or over depending if you want to sit up or down, or off if you want full movement :)
This was a life saver for me with 3 small foster babies! I can now go out on my own and to appts without stressing out!
I’m glad this was helpful with you ♥️

Yes always best to add in disclaimers! :)

Goodluck making it 🥰
I’m planning to try this for my reborns, especially for when I go for outings!! This is great as I have a double city select pram myself!!
Have fun!
It was so fun to do and relatively easy as well but now you have a full demo video it should be super easy for you! :)
@@ShellBellsChannel yep I have shifted the brackets and ordering my third seat tomorrow 🤗🤗 can’t wait for my next reborn meet up to show it to my group!!
How exciting!
I hope you have a great time!! :)
Hi what size countersunk bolts do I need? On your packet it says x5 32mm but in your info you’ve put 38mm

Do you know anyone or seen anyone with the lux? I'm going to switch strollers. I tried finding a photo of the triple lux but I haven't seen any.
I’m pretty sure there is one in this video ?
Take a closer look at the video.

Where can I buy this pram for my 3 babies
It has been made, I show how to make it.
Will the versa seat fit on the lux without modification?

No it wont fit, the bracket needs to be moved, + there isnt such thing as a seat extender?

Google photos, there is a photo of the 2 car seats and a seat I believe
I’m wondering if you can get the car seat adapter and put a car seat in there too for a newborn. I’m gonna try it.
It will fit at the top
do you think you would be able to put a capsual near the handle bar and 2 seats in the middle and front I am definitely going to purchase this pram
I used the bugaboo donkey hood rods and clamps + hood yes
No idea if it would work on a joovy sorry I haven’t had one
That’s so awesome,your super girl,my daughters the same,xxx
Aww Thankyou for the kind comment ♥️
What model Is this? The select 2?
If I pay you could you do this for me 😬 I need one like this I have a 2 1/2 a 1 1/2 and a baby coming this month
I don’t think so as I live in Australia it would be very expensive in shipping
This is an awesome hack!!!!!
😊😊🥰
Isn’t it so cool!!!
What exactly is the type of seat you put in the front? I can't find it online. The one you swapped in.
It’s a versa seat, from a baby jogger versa (single pram) - discontinued
But available second hand :)
Bonjour je voudrai faire cela j aurai besoin que vous m aider aussi a transformé la miens en 3
Beautiful pram
It’s super cool isn’t it!!
Would this work with the evenflo pivot expand ?
We don’t have that brand of pram in Australia, sorry
Can I do this on an Uppababy? I have two toddlers and a newborn.
No, it only has 2 adapter spots on the vista, keep the vista and get a toddler board, vista is a much better pram lol!
love to see this in an outing
There will 100% be an outing!!! ♥️
I want to see a seat configurations please ☺ I've seen a pic with capsule at the top and 2 seats at the bottom I'll send it to you via insta👍
I have that photo, but it’s a newer frame,
I will do a combinations video but there won’t be many combinations haha
I have tried x

All of the information is in the video
Which frame do you have? Because I’m trying to do it and it’s kinda small
I have a standard frame I think 2016, if you want a bigger frame try the Lux. There’s more room in that frame
I tried it on a 2018 frame and for some reason it doesn't fit. All seats, what did I do wrong?
I already drilled the frame, what seats am I suppose to buy
Can you put the two bottom ones forward facing ?
Unfortunately facing you is the only way you can have all 3 seats on the frame
Hi. Do the hoods just click in?
You need bugaboo donkey hood rods and clamps and then the hoods will clip on like the baby jogger hoods.
GIRL POWER!
Will this work well with 3 infant seats
No, the most I have seen is 2 but on the newer frame (as I showed in the video)
Can you let the stroller down?
Yes it only effects the handle height not being able to go up and down.
Hi dear i need this can you please tell me what’s price??
It’s not a pram that comes factory you have to modify a city select
Very interesting
Quite a novel idea
Thankyou ♥️♥️
Did any one do this with city select lux?
I mentioned this in the video.
So is the versa seat compatible with city select without modifications?
Yes
@@ShellBellsChannel thank you
With the middle seat I would put the foot rest up before putting it on
You change it around for if you want to lie down or sit them up,
It goes under the bar or over depending if you want to sit up or down, or off if you want full movement :)
i would do this to create more between two seats
Yes you can also do that but it does risk the pram being a bit too heavy.
As cool as its look never risk your baby todo this
I have given all the warnings in the video and stated that I used it for dolls, thankyou though.
It’s actually very very stable. I have done this for twins and a baby, and it won’t tip as you have a child over the axel which makes it stable.
