@@Carsian aahh goatt, i recommend you reading SciADV VNs, chaos;child especially is so much better than S;G imo. Just dont watch the anime adaptation of this series because the only good anime adaptation this series had is Steins;Gate/0 and maybe Robotics;Notes.
seeing the last fight scene, how gunvarrel build 2 won the fight and people's hearts was exceptional. i love this scene. this theme fits gunvarrel build 2 great.

with today's tecnology and materials, it is possible to build a copy, of gunvarrel build 2, working and functioning, without problem. what you need is open minded experts in robotics with out of the box thinking, who have their vision open for the future, and solid buget.
budget would be a problem only until initial research and development, but once the final prototype is functioning and bug free, and the final blueprints are ready, you can always optimize building process to reduce some of the budget. but we are not talking about serial production unit, so this rule might not apply.

Shows like this almost as important, as the most serious and most well made works in anime, if not greater. It let's you explore young idealistic time of your life as like you are building this giant robot with the protags, it let's you explore your inner young self that locked away as you grown up, your inner self that cheered for people and their dreams, you young self that was doing it's best to achieve any goal you set before yourself, even if those goals was unreacheble. I adore this anime for it's positive and very idealistic outlook on the world and cherish it's very, in a good way, childeesh tone. When I saw the beginning of episode 22 the enemy was so bewildered, and then in shock to see Gunvarrel staring Kou down from a distance. I could only say this was pure bad-ass gundam material there! Man I wished there was a sequel!
