I lost a friend back in June last year, and for whatever reason, whenever I want to talk to her I play this video. Instead of talking to silence, I get to talk to rain which I've tried to represent her with; it rained the day of her viewing and memorial/funeral and the time in between was clear skies. Sure rain can be depressing, but having this idea sort of helped me move along in life while keeping her close. Miss you E 💚

Edit: talking or communicating with the dead is a form of witchcraft - it's being a "consulter with familiar spirits" and this is sin. People think that sin is "cool", but God hates sin/evil and will punish those who do such things on judgement day after we die:

God is just, and the punishment that must be give is the Lake of Fire for eternity, not just for this sin, but all sin:

That's the second death because the first death was in this life, when we first sinned while having knowledge of God's law, our spirit died
Romans 6:23
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
But because God is so loving, and not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2Peter 3:9), He sent His Son Jesus Christ to live a sinless life, and then offer Himself as a living sacrifice to die on the cross for your sins, then He rose himself from the dead after 3 days, defeating death; He took your punishment (the wrath of God) upon Himself, so you could be saved. However, He only gives that free gift of forgiveness and salvation to those who , and believe on Jesus Christ. If in your pride and lack of repentance, you reject Jesus Christ who died for you, then Jesus said he would would deny you before His Father in heaven:
Matthew 10:33
“But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.”
That's why we have to be born-again (saved), in this life, before it's over - and only Jesus Christ can quicken our dead spirit ( "quicken" means "to make alive"):
Ephesians 2:1-3
1"And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others."
But again, he only quickens those who Repent and put their faith in Jesus Christ.
Psalms 34:18
“The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.”
"contrite" means to be broken hearted towards God for your sins. That's who He saves when mixed with faith in Jesus Christ.
It has nothing to do with turning or changing; that comes after salvation, because salvation is by grace through faith:
Ephesians 2:4-5
4But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
So for anyone who may be reading this, if you haven't come to God in humility and godly sorrow for your sins (repentance), and asked Jesus Christ to forgive you, then you are lost, and will go to the Lake of fire for eternity, because you have sinned against God, and nothing you do can make up for those wrongs:

Breaking just one commandment will send you to hell, that's why only the blood of Jesus Christ (His sacrifice), can save you:

God being perfect wouldn't do such a very imperfectly human thing like discriminate against its creations. This is very common, so many of us have the same problem. Tell your doctor about it. It's frustrating when you don't know why and a catch 22 because the more scared upsetting your sleep the worse it gets 😒
Fear is okay. It’s okay to be scared. Even if you have no idea what you are afraid of. There is so much to be afraid of in this life....you don’t have to give it a name or an image in your mind. It’s okay to just be scared sometimes. With no idea why. And it’s wonderful that you are aware of how to cope with that fear and anxiety when you aren’t even sure where it’s rooted. You’re strong and capable, you are self aware, and you know how to comfort and self-soothe. Having healthy coping skills is everything, especially when we don’t understand wtf we are coping with.
It’s going to be okay. You’re already way ahead of whatever it is that makes you feel afraid. You are already so much stronger than it because you know already how to overcome it. Be proud of that. Always.

Hello! I used to really hate rain but one night I decided to think about it more. Rain is life itself in general. Without it, it would be pretty much impossible to find a way to live or live long enough to find a way. That’s deep but it helped me understand what I shouldn’t take for granted, like rain and thunder. It’s funny now that I think about it. I used to hate something so beautiful, something so important. So this helps me relax, clear my head in a way. I always listen to rain sounds to go to sleep as I usually have trouble or did. Have a nice night, day or whatever! Have a good one :)
