We’ve owned our hybrid HRV since July 2024 here in Thailand, which is in regular daily family use for school run, shopping, longer trips, holidays etc. During this period the car has travelled 32,000 kms, achieving 24.4 kms per litre, just short of 70mpg. We love the car, the high quality, comfort, controlled suspension and particularly the engine, which we set in eco mode most of the time, fast enough for overtakes without needing to “kick down”. We don’t have any issues with the gearbox, which we find quiet and smooth for all normal everyday driving. The magic seats are a wonderful feature.
Great to see a side by side, Tish. I like the green and it's nice to see it's the standard no cost colour. Usually the free colours are boring or horrid. If I can ignore the CVT mooing under acceleration I'd be really tempted.
I'd originally been discouraged (by other reviewers) away from the HR-V due to the talk of them being very noisy. This review has swayed me back and I'm almost set on one now. Thank you!
Ignore the rubbish about it being noisy. Yes, if you put your foot down you do hear the engine rev, I can’t think of a car that you can’t! It very quickly settles down, under most normal driving the engine is very unobtrusive. I’ve had one a year now and it’s hard to fault. Mpg is amazing, best I’ve had on a full tank is 64 mpg. Averages around 54 mixed motoring.
Always found these to be very appealing from the smart looks inside and out and clever hybrid powertrain, and of course the Honda quality, which I've had plenty experience with. Currently driving a an equivalent Euro rival as my daily car but will be looking at the HR-V next summer when my existing car goes back.
Some people who review cars said the hrv was noisy in 2022.. what a load of rubbish, how often do you floor a car?! People listened to awful reviews and many have now realised they were ridiculous.. Matt at car wow one of the few who said a little noisy when accelerating but not at all bad, and buy! So I did, I will be on my 3rd one next year, sage green I think it will be interesting to see the differences…
Personally i prefer the dark blue other than the green even though green is my favourite colour. I have never liked the grill painted the colour of the car so the darker colours would hide that. In my opinion white in it looks terrible. But in through Honda style its sure to be bomb proof reliable. Good one Tish.
Well, other than modern strict emission restrictions and penalties, the industry is focused on electrifying everything so there are only so many ways to make a hybrid..In other news, due to popular cost savings by platform sharing, this is a jazz/fit underneath, so...
Agree, especially when Toyota gives 10yrs warranty if you keep having it serviced by them. The Yaris Cross is their HRV equivalent at a similar price point.
Did you pass gas at minute 4:25 ? it made me want the car even more

Another who believed it was noisy

Small inclination and it went crazy like driving a Ferrari😂 test drive always
Any car can be noisy at the hands of speed merchants.
Noisy? Mine is sooooo quiet I forget it’s running at times, absolutely LOVE mine! You will LOVE yours too lol
Test drove one the other week. And i found the engine noisy and harsh

Love this car, especially in red or sunlight pearl.
North America should follow these design and powertrain...
Love a Honda with Magic Seats but really dont like way the seat support bar does not fold away properly unlike many older Honda models.
Honda pse don't make any further facelift as present look is adorable n attractive .❤
Is it possible to add a trailer hitch for a trailer? So far it was only allowed to add a trailer hitch for bike-racks (European Model of HRV 2021+).

You don't need to have the body coloured grille. Regardless of what body colour you order you can specify a black painted grille.
Dark Blue Is not available on the new HrV
Each to their own.. my white one was brilliant
@@domenicolarucciayes it is seabed I think it’s called
Not very detailed specification of motor/driving efficiency innovation. can U specify more data too?
The hrvs we have here in the USA are boaring. The ones you have are a lot more tempting.
I think your hrv is the zrv in 🇬🇧 have a look?
Why are these same new Honda Hrv cars nearly £9,000 cheaper in Australia? Check if you don't believe me.
Would be good car if it had the much more powerful Civic power train and not that from the Jazz
That’s available in ZR V which is basically civic crossover.

How many
Lol. They moved the steering wheel! What the hell!
Wish Honda bring this to the USA market with hybrid option. Currently USA HRV is one ugly beast.
I find Honda’s pricing a little expensive while not giving anything extra warranty wise.

Very Good car. But rear quarter design is little odd. 😮😊
