In the Arctic (North Pole) a cold winter is around -50F Yakutia is in the Siberian Arctic...it gets even colder -75F is cold but not out of the ordinary. It can be getting as cold as -92 F. An Icebear would consider it to be cold. But at times the icebears travel almost 300 miles SOUTH and end up in Yakutia...

Wind chills in northern Canada are worse than the relatively calm Yakutsk and Omicron in Siberia. Plus although their springs summers and falls can be said to comprise June, July, and August, it can get hot during those months for the latter.
The Richardson Mountains in northwestern Canada near the Dempster Hwy often have high winds of up to 80-90 kph in winter.

I like the cold better than the hot climate! But that colder weather is less likely desirable.
I happen to like Russia, their culture and the people, the government is something else. And I happen to like Canadians, they seem very friendly and tolerant citizens.

Last winter wasn't really here in Michigan. None of the 3 Great Lakes surrounding us had even shore ice, compared to the last half of the 20th century, when they would often
freeze almost completely over by early March.
In SE Michigan the last true winter that would last from mid-December to mid-April was back in 1981-82. We have had summer-like thunderstorms in January and February back in 2020. That is just crazy weather!! That never happened before since I was a kid in the 1960s.

Not sure if true but I heard years ago Iceland did it on purpose to keep people away.

I happen to like Russia, their culture and the people, the government is something else. And I happen to like Canadians, they seem very friendly and tolerant citizens. Also, I would like to visit Antarctica being a very beautiful continent but it is very expensive to travel there.
And please, use the Fahrenheit system when talking about minus cold weather, or any other things; I forgot the metric system of measurement and I do better them with the Imperial System of measurement! Thank you! It would be greatly appreciated! 👍👍🙌🙌
