#Darjeeling is a city and municipality in the Eastern Himalayas in India in the northernmost region of the state of West Bengal. It is famous for its tea industry, scenic views of the world's third-highest mountain #Kangchenjunga, and a narrow-gauge mountain railway, the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
In this video we go to Darjeeling Railway Station to take a Joy Ride on the famous Darjeeling Himalayan Railway popularly known as Darjeeling Toy Train. It is a short trip from Darjeeling to Ghum Station and return with a break at Batasia Loop and Ghum DHR Museum. The trip takes almost 90 minutes for a round trip to Ghum from Darjeeling. Ghum is the highest station of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railways and is located around 5 km away from Darjeeling. The Ghum station has the Darjeeling Himalayan Railways Museum on the first floor of the railway station building. After the Joy Ride we return back to Darjeeling Station and then visit the Darjeeling Mall. Have evening snacks at Frank Ross cafe and spent the rest of the day enjoying the ambience at the Darjeeling Mall. At night we have dinner at the iconic Glenary's.
