Sadly, I also had a horrible experience with the people in housing. My roommate accused me of threatening to punch her and even though my other 4 roommates all said that didn’t happen (which it didn’t), the lady accused me of lying about it. I feel that she racially profiled me considering my roommate was white and I’m black and the lady said “I look like the aggressive type” which is highly offensive because I’m such a loving and caring person, but she refused to believe it and told me to “be careful with my next roommate otherwise my program would be over” and this was less than a month in. I did end up self-terming but that was because I got hurt and couldn’t work and my job wouldn’t make accommodations. So you’re not alone, but keep holding your head high
i’m so sorry that happened to you! i feel like housing is just not in touch with reality or something idk. but keep doing you - i’m sure there are better things for you in the future!
I've heard of SO MUCH RACISM in the DCP omfg. And Disney just brushes it under the rug
@@chandlerredhead27 since mine was housing related, I don’t think Disney had any knowledge because housing was run by a third party. I think Disney has full control now though so they better get it right

I cannot believe that happened to you. I am so sorry. My roommates during the dcp were also pretty bad. I felt so out of place since day one so I termed.

My daughter has a similar experience with her roommates and they told housing that she was suicidal and she was not she has some anxiety and depression but she was in a better place than she was 6 months ago but housing still termed her. I agree with you on the housing it’s awful
thats horrible! i'm so sorry for your daughter :/ i think that housing was really the main problem with my program, it needs to be fixed so this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Wow, that’s really crazy and I’m sorry you had to go through that! I had been following all this on insta and was very confused and thought you were terming because you didn’t like your new work location. While it sucks, I wouldn’t be surprised if they did term you for the potential “liability,” since that’s what they do when they find alcohol in wellness apartments - they want to wash their hands of anything that could reflect poorly on them. It seems like so many roommate issues, either in my own apartment on my program or in my friends or a lot of videos I’ve seen, relationships are a huge trigger.
i agree. i think it’s interesting that people finding someone and being happy is something so upsetting to people. in terms of disney housing, they need to treat people better most definitely and learn to handle these kinds of situations gracefully and with compassion - not accusations and negativity

I absolutely cannot believe this happened to you. it is absolutely pathetic. I am so so sorry. First of all, why are people upset with you that you decide to spend time with someone else?! It is YOUR Program and you could do whatever you want. it makes me so mad that people felt the need to try to control you. They are seriously pathetic and I am sorry you had to go through that. Also, i am so incredibly disappointed with housing handled your situation. They should have made sure you were okay! And if you weren't, they should have taken action in the appropriate manner. I cannot believe they were going to term you based off of what someone else said, and for that reason too. It makes me so disappointed. Disney housing is honestly a joke and I cannot believe how much they get away with. Just know you're amazing and so strong and it is inspiring to see you take action and stand up for yourself

i didn't release names or go into a lot of details because then i would essentially be attacking the other people involved. i spent a majority of my time with my boyfriend and that was my decision, but people didn't enjoy that. then they got really hurt and decided to do something to remove me from the situation
