Hey! Love the content Braie. One thing I find interesting is youre experience coaching! You do have a good gymnastics perspective to make these teams, so it's interesting to hear your perspective
Definitely my top 5. I think where people are not factoring in, is that Jade is Olympic floor champion. It isn’t all about raw scores. I think that’s where this uses small sample size.
Now that there have been so many injuries, my new team is, Simone, Jordan, Jade, Suni & I'm concerned about the last spot but Hezly, strictly because they need her for bars & beam. I would like to see Leanne make it but I'm concerned.
Simone, Shi, Jade, Suni and Jordan. I think where people are not factoring in, is that Jade is Olympic floor champion. It isn’t all about raw scores. I think that’s where this uses a small sample size.
@@Ayybraiebraie Suni doesn't need to have 4 strong apparatuses. In a very odd way, only Biles need to have 4 strong apparatuses. She IS THE GOAT for a reason. She could easily do it & it with more levels of difficulty than any other gymnast on earth... Biles, for example, is NOT going to win every apparatus; but her AVERAGE SCORE (due to her average skills) in every apparatus is such that if she doesn't fall TWICE over, on any one (or falling once on more than one apparatus), Biles could still wrack up enough numbers to win the AA Gold, if her other 3 events are done, say, in the 98 percentile... something that, again, no other gymnast could do (not Skye or Sunni or Nemour or Qiu Qiyuan et al)... Anyway, Suni has already proven --- in the last Olympic trials (a WIN she did that dove tail, later, to her winning the AA Gold in the same Olympics) and in prior nationals and international events ---- that if she's stuck in all of her apparatuses and Biles has one or 2 mishaps, Suni COULD take lead. Of course, times and health issues have come in between, the last 2-3 years.... for Suni, that is... so, we'd see how physically healthy she is, to see if she could actually perform at least at the level of the last Olympics... Suni is the current Olympic defending champ FOR a reason: after Biles, ON AVERAGE, Suni is the best in the world.... over 5 times out of 10, when all major players come to play...
@@Ayybraiebraie If she can still do the double full without falling, her bar and beams can put her a solid second, her bar is now a 6.4 difficulty so she can score in the 14.8-15 range and her beam as well can be in this area, please also note that on the podium training she improved her floor difficulty as well I agree that vault is her weakest event for sure though

I tried my best selection and I know some people don’t agree with the way I went about it, but that’s OK and that’s probably the reason why I’m not on the selection committee.😂😂 i’m also not to be on the committee so that’s fair. But I think just watching over the ears and knowing these athletes and seeing the numbers, I feel confident that the team will consist of Simone, Shilese, Suni,Jordan. Now that Scott is unfortunately injured, I’m not sure if that fifth spot will go to Jade or Kayla!
